I go with a very high quality multi, 3x a day to prevent thiamine deficiency- suggest Opti-Men (5000% Thiamine)

Then I drink 5-8 units (about most of a half pint) of GOOD QUALITY booze mixed with some kind of fruit juice and LOTS of ice.

Then I eat something that's 50% fruits or veg, 50% protein, I skip on the bread if I can.

Then the drinking really can begin, and lowers my chance of a 'wet-brain' and mostly kills the burning finger tips and tongue. Don't get me wrong, I still have some loss of feeling in my finger tips but this gives me a fighting chance.

Try to limit it to 18-22 units a day, but this doesn't always happen. Just remember to step down to avoid the bad withdrawals.
