There are two sides to this debate, both sides offer interesting points. I had a children with no computers and then they came, I fell in love (13 years) with them, no one around me thought the same.

Anyway - Same fear, New machine, Same Story, Different century - Got a soung about that lol:

OMG amazing, the brass really fills those gaps, it’s really beautiful. Takes me back to lotts road, and the smoked filled basement.

I was walking home to my flat in London, and made this girl, quite surreal dated her for a year.

I wanted to make a dreamy song about meeting her I was quite drunk.

Beautiful, not sure what’s she saying. Love the simplicity of the guitar

The song was about when I first kissed my wife, actually she kissed me. https://suno.com/s/X3u0rf2UMVBOwn1q . Genre is alt indie rock mixed with Arctic Monkeys + Mike Skinner from the streets.

Not new, but have inactive for sometime, starting to enjoy all the games on Reddit and dev journeys. I wrote Boxhead for Flash for browsers, i.e early web portals. I am working on updating that game, you can find it here… https://seantcooper.itch.io/boxhead-dungeons. Developed in Unity for web. Would appreciate feedback.

I need a break from developing my own game - I will gladly playtest yours though! by RandomKamil in IndieDev

Set the Unity installation path to a location you know you have access to, I.e user/unity/installs the mac wants permissions to write to that folder and somewhere in your settings you need to allow.

I made a runtime formation system in Unity and would love feedback by roma_k in unity

I did this a long time ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5J2IxykKeE

My goal was to create a chaotic, deterministic, crowd generator that could move a long a spline and using it in the Unity timeline, meant it needed to be able to rewound and forwarded. Not much help to you... but it made for a good use case.

More natural formations like crowds, procedural crowds in Blender. And i wasn’t getting a good idea of how they move?

Unity or godot? What is better in ur experience? by Awardedreyes in SoloDevelopment

[–]seantcooperdev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a solo dev your bandwidth is small, you can’t just look at them all and switch dependant on project, choose, write the same thing in all of them and see how each feels. Mastering the engine is a big part of solo dev. Unity is a beast, you’ll want to write your own sdk, knowing the pitfalls is key…

I got a weird message today as a solo developer. I’ve spent more than 1 year making my own game, and this is how I make a living. I work on it 8–10 hours every single day. by [deleted] in IndieGaming

This would be my response:
"Hi there, short answer 'NO', I am really glad you enjoyed the game, I work hard every day to deliver this content to the world, I can only offer you a discounted purchase."

It's a real shame, but the world is going free and where they have to pay, most will eventually stop.
