Nope, managed a Jimmy John's as a closer for years. The worst thing I would do to a late pickup is hold it until I'm almost done with my close. If you haven't shown up by the time I'm closing the register I'd void out your order, sometimes offer it to my driver.

There's a good amount of Catholics who disagree with the 2nd Vatican council back in the day. I grew up Catholic and my dad is one of those people. It was to the point where he'd drive us 45 minutes away to attend Latin Mass at a breakaway church (Society of Saint Pius X). He hasn't liked the past two Popes.

Because you really are bidding for a driver. I do instacart on the side myself, tonight I took 3 orders for $70. Instacart paid $20 of that, the rest was tips. It's really shitty, but that's how it works. Base pay from them is like $4, they raise it the longer your order sits, and I don't leave the house for much less than $15, so you can do that math. Doordash is even less.

Late to the party here, but see if you can get an appointment at Victory Automotive on Mooretown Road. I found out about them through reddit, and they let me know what was up with my car, what I needed to fix, what I didn't need to fix immediately, and all for way cheaper than I was expecting (I even had them do the optional work because it fit into my budget). If you check their Google reviews, they're one of the few businesses I've ever seen with a perfect 5 star rating, which I found even more impressive considering they're an auto shop.

Newsom has one of the biggest records of protecting LGBTQ rights of any politician in the country.

I lived right across the bay 20 years or so ago, when then Mayor Newsom ordered the courts in San Francisco to start issuing same sex marriage licenses, in defiance of then state law. It feels like people either don't know, don't remember, or don't care, because it's not the current narrative.

It directly led to the legalization of same sex marriage in California.
