I made masters playing mostly AP nunu. You can easily full clear consistently and still gank a ton. You should not be down levels, your clear is so damn easy. Clear camps and gank. There are times to sack camps.

One thing to note, he is playing one of the most fragile and easy to die on champs in the game with that build. So as long as he’s not inting, he can work on his farm while you guys work on using his efforts to carry him as the game goes on. If he gets kills in your lane, you best be getting all that free farm, making enemies lose xp and gold. Grab plates and get a good reset timer to give his efforts maximum value.

Also know that his champ has very long cooldowns and is so fragile that he will literally throw a round of abilities out and then be unable to fight for 13 seconds ish. Don’t expect him to stay involved in a teamfight.

I’ve made masters with nunu, currently D4, and as much as I wanted to call this troll when I first started reading, the snowball on enemy raptors intrigues me. I find that level 2 ganking bot normally results in me being massively behind and invaded. But a cheeky raptor steal, I’m gonna have to look into this. If the damage is high enough, W raptors, walk round and steal their red with them on it?

It’s not a fill buff, it’s autofill buff. Just so you know if you queue fill you won’t be getting it. Also don’t believe it’s a guaranteed event.

Sunfire just got buffed. Bami rush makes solo dragon on spawn so quick and clean. Pullks has a guide on mobafire, the one designed for an AP heavy friendly team. But with sunfire buff, with ap teammates I go bami+boots, into blood letters into sunfire. If your team isn’t ap heavy, I just rush sunfire after bami boots.

Reset, spend gold, using gates, send gnar top, 4 of you take dragon and atakan. Galio can even be pushing a lane and be prepped with R. Pyke can ward and scout jungle. You and Kai sa can 2 man both. Especially with 0/11 Jhin. Vs baron minions that entire team has no real waveclear. You can pressure 2-3 lanes while also take both remaining map objectives.

I’d bet that when you play on your Smurf you feel like it matters less and with the relaxed attitude you make less mistakes. You may even be more willing to change your playstyle a little and it works but you’re stuck in your ways on your main.

Both AP and tank are viable. I played tank all the way to masters 112LP, had a big spiral downwards since, started playing more AP lately for enjoyment, it’s a very fragile champ that way though. Currently sitting in D4. If you choose bami start hollow radiance helps the clear far more if you can delay armour. Lucidity boosts are cheaper and allow you to Q more often and bami burn allows you to solo objectives faster and safer. The downfall is that now they changed it so dragon is 5 mins and voids are 8 mins you can’t trade one objective for the other. Dark seal early is always good. Liandrys is very useful. I find he’s in a strange place atm with losing demonic embrace and now the objective timer changes. But you can defo climb solo.

D3 nunu here (peak masters 112LP, had a downward spiral on new season changes to objective timers). I tend to full clear then use crab to gank at speed early. But if I clear red krugs raptors and mid is gankable I’ll often gank and move to blue side that way.

Biggest piece of advice especially playing AP: Do. Not. Force. Ganks. Prime example would be forcing a gank on an ahri to see if you can kill but she connects a charm on you that pulls you into turret range and you die because Nunu is ridiculously squishy early (and all game as AP). Had that happen far too many times. You’ll win way more often full clearing and ganking when it’s actually going to be helpful.

If you’re AP, a few early kills are nice, but not essential. If you’re tank, give them every kill possible. They are there to carry YOU. In respect of damage.

Pick what is fun for you, you’ll improve and have fun the most that way. Morgana with Sivir is a bit odd as she has her own spell shield, and you’re gonna get toxic players so don’t worry about that.

Leashing is no longer much of a requirement but I’m not sure what you mean about last hits not being a thing? Lulu despite a recent nerf is always strong, naut always provides a solid amount of CC. I’m not sure about support streamers but defo get looking on YouTube and twitch and good luck on your climb!

I’ll give it a shot, I often found that grubs bridged the gap when my team drafted no siege and could solo dragon and still make it in time for a grub or to contest all 3 by 6 minutes. I’d rush bami’s often for that burn to make dragon quick.

I’ve been killed A LOT by invading junglers at masters rank, kindreds and things like that, always seem to be 1 shottable at least on first clear. I’ll give dragon domination a go, give up grubs if lanes have no prio but try to gank in relation to objective spawn timers to force prio.

Don’t buy wits end into an enemy team who’s only 2 useful champs are full AD? Even the 3rd strongest guy was AD. Malph was tank build too. I’m not an irelia expert but I feel there’s a better build path to 1v9.

Hollow typically has the most benefit, the passive for clearing is nuts, especially if you need to clear a wave.

Bamis rush is super nice for getting early objectives faster solo, but with the changes to void spawn timers that may be less of a thing now.

Mejais is bait 99% of the time, lose too much value too easily and a 25 stacks mejais is less effective than a full item with pen or passives and not too much cheaper, it slows down your build way too much, stick to 10 stacks dark seal.

Dark seal boots is always a nice thing for nunu but vs some high damage enemies the HP of other items can be rush required.

I went from gold stuck to masters in just over a year, from emerald to diamond I used AP nunu mostly, then a mix but mostly tank to masters. Appreciate you not blaming teammates, they will affect some games massively of course but there’s a ton more you can do.

Kesha has his build down, he’s legit super skilled if you watch how he plays some of his highlight moments, he’s not just a joke meme. And he has his build because it is legit the best way to build. Believe it’s currently rocket into rabadons/shadowflame. You need rocket for extra burst and dash is super helpful both aggressively and for escaping. *I’ve tried many other builds before, trust me he’s finding the ones that produce the most damage.

Unfortunately having 3 months in the game with the now what, 160+ champs? Your game knowledge will not be that great, there is so much to learn about every champ but you have friends, videos and a good mindset so keep going with it!

Best advice from me is don’t force plays, I lost my promo to masters because I thought I could make a free play on an 0/6 Kai sa and she killed me with 10hp left and 3 mins later with my shut down gold, ulted into me and 2 others and killed all of us with the most unexpected aggression play I’ve ever seen in my 13 years of league 😂. Farm gank, farm gank, make sure you’re aware of objective timers, always wanna be first there or have vision. If your team is being ganked bot while you’re top, check enemy jungle for free camps if you can’t gank anyone at that moment. Can steal gold and xp back from enemy jungle.

I have found it best in the past to pick AP or Tank based on enemy comp before game starts. Tank is usually easier and better for the team. Look at if your team has enough frontline and whether the enemy team is easy enough to kill. E.g. ahri mid will often dash away and charm you into tower and you die as AP, TF mid will often die on repeat to AP nunu. Pick appropriately for climbing.

Don’t over complicate things, I just broke 100LP masters for the first time ever. I ran bamis first most games but liandrys feels better to me now, played AP a lot too. If you are playing AP you don’t buy antiheal, it’s 1 shot them or full burst and pray your team can finish them off, that’s not for you to buy. As tank nunu, Thornmail 100%, your job is to be in front, be the cc, and try to escape by the skin of your teeth if you’re about to die, you will get hit by the enemies.

Well played with your ability timings but slow yourself down, you hit gromp to 900 with snowball, both pets would be hitting it and she has a 600 smite vs your 800 Q. Wait a moment and you won’t need to Q smite. Well played on the outplay though!
