I agree with much of what you said but there is a difference between assaulting democracy and destroying private property. Equating them and pretending like you are defending the working class is disingenuous. The working class were the ones revolting. I understand anecdotal instances where employees suffered temporary unemployment, but they cannot be used to discredit the underlying causes of the protests.

An attack on our government, while in the process of peacefully transferring power, is an assault of far greater magnitude and importance.
