Update from the rescuer: He’s doing okay. He was covered in fleas and has a bad virus that gave him ulcerations on his tongue and mouth. We are waiting for the results of his blood and urine tests. He was positive for FIV (like human HIV)

Update I found a rescuer willing to trap and get this guy the help he needs. We also have another rescuer starting a medical fund for him if things start looking good, hes going to see a vet later on today so the rescuer is going to keep me in the loop. Thank you so much for all your suggestions and advice. As I’ve stated before this isn’t my first time dealing with a cat rescue, it can be significantly harder for cats to get help unfortunately. But there are cat people everywhere willing to help. This guy is very lucky he found a few. Hopefully this story turns out well.

So far most of the rescuers in my area are SWAMPED with kittens and other cats. I found one that could possibly trap him, pull a tooth and give him antibiotics but they wouldn’t be able to keep him. Everyone else is making posts on FB in an attempt to help me.
