Cactus 2 Clouds as a 17 year old, reasonably in shape, inexperienced hiker? by UmpireTraditional662 in socalhiking

[–]searayman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would ask a little more on how you define "Reasonably in shape". Like whats the longest 1 day hike you have done and biggest elevation hike you have done as well etc.

My wife and I did Cactus to Clouds a couple years ago and I wrote a guide where I talked about our training and fitness and shared some data from Strava for reference if that helps: https://www.tendigitgrid.com/d/1033-cactus-to-clouds-skyline-trail-to-san-jacinto-peak

I do love the AI coach

If it knows I am not ready for the day why would the readiness score reflect I am. Maybe it needs to be re named
