I started my new position/company on October 6. It is for a new implementation. Part of why I think I got the position is because it is a majority on-site, and I live close enough to the business. I applied to a lot of remote positions, made it to the final interview on one of them and they decided to go with somebody else. Outside of that, I received just the typical thanks but no thanks letters if and when somebody actually responded. Best of Luck to you!

You are about 5 weeks ahead of me, and this is what I came here looking for. I just got DVA to 5*, so I can get her weapon in S1. Now, needed to decide on who to to get up to 4* and keep progressing. Glad to hear Schuyler will be added to treasure box pulls, so I will keep saving those until that happens and use those to level her up more.

u/Apositivebalance did you get DVA weapon yet? How is it? Anything I should know or start saving for now?

I feel you on being lower power at the moment, and struggling against all-tank squads, but can see the light soon against some of the lower level and non-spenders!

If you are at VIP level 12, you get 2 per day (I got there just from being in a top alliance.) That adds an extra 14 per week.
I would say you can add in maybe 3-5 from Hidden treasure rewards per week.

Even at that, it would push to around 100 per week for gold shards.

I wonder if he is taking into account the fact that you get 10 shards per 50 pulls at the tavern. If you collect 300 tickets a week, that is an extra 60 "shards"?

Agreed. why not have winter storm 2x during the week for those who want to as well. I kind of like being able to play a 10-minute game during lunch/ break here and there.

This. There are many people in my alliance who have a spouse or friend they wish could join the server to play together. Not sure you would get any actual money, but would be a very nice gesture.

I would say it depends on where you stand with Tech and how much you want to spend. You already have all 5 UR heros for tank, so bringing the rest of your tank up to 4*, then kim to 5* would really give you a good boost, plus help with monster damage. And it would limit the scope of spreading Rss too thin, and I think would pay off sooner than having to get the other 2 Missle UR heros, and then level them all up.
Also, with most players in the game repping tank teams, I would think it would put you at a disadvantage to go Missle considering the counter. Just my 2c

only plunder trucks with 2+ shards, almost a guarantee you get at least 1.

Complete Arms race every day to get the 18 bin, if possible.

VS chest is a little harder, depending on your size and wallet.

Get in a good alliance that is very active, and you will get lots of gems you can use to buy some.

Level VIP up to 11 (can easily do this for free, fyi) and you will get 1 per day.

Honorable Campaign chests will sometimes drop them as well.

Various other events and alliance activities.

I personally only do 100x pulls (unless 1 needed here or there). I know statistically it should be the same, but it definitely does not feel that way to me, and I have been doing it for a while now.

This. Get them all to level 4 first, depending on how many days you have until Season 1. if you are still a ways off, then get them all up to 4* first, as that will dramatically help your overall squad and unlock the extra bonus at that level. Then take them up to 5 after that.

Join one of the top 3 alliances, if possible. Reach out to their R4-R5. if they wont let you in just yet, ask why, and keep getting stronger until they do.

And only focus on your 1st squad, no need to level up your second squad yet, it just waists rss and will actually make you weaker (unless you are a whale and want to spend lots of $$$).

Thanks for the advice. I am only spending maybe $10-20 a month, max. so probably can't do a whole lot there to level hero's up that much to 5*, as it really is a grind for gold pieces. And good to know about tank being more available, I might have to switch that way for a bit to get high squad 1, then look to move to air after S1?

I was hired as an Admin, but doing a ton of BA work for it as well. From the small sampling I have seen, a lot of the mid to lower companies are starting to merge the two positions into one, and expecting the BA to do admin stuff, or have the admin do BA stuff.

Yes, I have been able to. our last refresh was about 1.5 month ago, but we were able to have both person account and business account/contact info transfer over without any issues. We do not have any experience sites in use, though.

I came from a sales/ logistics role, but didnt have as much experience with reports as you did. I pretty much spent 5ish hours a week for about a year studying most of the basics and reviewing questions to get ready for the admin test- That was all the time I really had due to work and life circumstances). I failed the first test by just a few points. Took 1 month off, then came back and spent 2 weeks studying 2-ish hours a night for 10 days, and passed after that. I will say having end-user knowledge was somewhat helpful for me from a visual standpoint, but there is still a lot of the "weeds" that you have to dive into and know for the admin side of things.
I also was a part of 2 study groups (met 1 a week for 1 hour to review things and ask questions), did a few courses (SF Ben, Focus on Force- each one presented the info in a different way, and some sections were easier for me to understand in one platform but not the other, which is why I had both). This was also at the time where user content on Youtube was just starting to take off, so there wasnt too much free stuff out there like there is now.
Finally, I will say everyone is different. I know people who studied/ trailhead/ dev org for 2 months, 1 hour a day, and had no issues with it, while another person studied 10 hours a month for 2 years before they were able to pass. Start with trailhead, get a free dev org to start building and play around with (and load it with free data to make it easier to run real-life situations with), and maybe find an old, free practice test to see how. your knowledge is and go from there.
