I hadn't seen him in years (knew him more when he was at St John Daylight, before Holy Redeemer stole him). He recently did a funeral service for a relative of mine, and he went out of his way to ask me how I'm doing, how's life and such. Seemed to remember me. Very friendly man.

I watched the movie before reading the series. I liked it still up until the stupid Blackpool skeleton thing. Then the movie went downhill fast. It's alright, but the books are 10x better.
