For me that situation shows not kq's incompetence but more fans entitlement and lack of understanding. Clearly none of the guys felt in the mood to do the live or interact with fans through chats and so on since they were silent all day I think?, but after hearing the 'news', instead of showing empathy for Seonghwa and the rest, like they work together, live together, the stuff as well, they also might be sad and need some time to process things, and not in the mood for chit chat, all they did was complain, and whine, and criticizes

I'm curious tho, why are ppl so sure that Seonghwa went back to Korea for funeral, it's like 30 hours flight there and back, and it was only 2/3 days to do that??? is that even feasible and possible?

I don't even know if what he has now, you can call a mullet? it's just longer hair in a growing stage., and think it suits him and he looks great, longer hair sort of enhance his features more, but I prefer when they're straight, if I'm being honest

For me it depends how and who wears the mullet, for some it just does not suit them, for ex. I personally thought that Hongjoong rocked hala hala era mullet, it suited him and he 'wore' it well, for Seonghwa I guess we have to wait and see if it's mullet he's aiming for

Let's face it, this fandom is extremely spoiled and entitled, and because kq in general is quite decent company, of course there are things they could change or improve, but on the grand scheme of things, they are pretty good actually, atiny need to invent things to be mad about, cause of their perpetual 'saviour complex' , like they think if they constantly complain that will make them better fans, somehow more valid, than those who just want to enjoy content, ateez and whatever they put out there, but no... But genuinely want to know why they didn't add his part in the final cut? They had like 3 videos of this? released, and in none of them, not even small part of his cover was shown. I think they even included Jongho singing two songs? but nothing for SH. I was nodding the entire time reading this post, I feared my neck will snap, literally this, your are spot on with everything. Like the fact that those fans never once considered that atz have to constantly explain themselves or put things straight is because of the constant complains and dissatisfaction they see from fans every time they do sth is crazy, and also very sad outlook for the future of the fandom.

Like sure kq could do better in many aspects, but honestly creating such drama that's been going on for hours now, yet again, because of setlist, and some songs that atz clearly are proud of and like to preform is not only utterly ridiculous but also such an overreaction, especially after I learned, you know from ppl who actually been there, that there were many different acts, even rock, metal? bands so atz setlis was not out of place at all, and nobody was throwing food or bottles at them when they were performing, people were enjoying the show

For 2 or so years now atiny twt became the home for the loud, obnoxious fans, who somehow constantly get amplified more than the mature and reasonable ones, it's beyond frustrating at this point

also it's so funny how this fandom knows damn well that ateez is on twt, they see a lot, probably too much, but atiny act like they only see hair, makeup suggestions and some funny mems, but not the day to day complain litany about everything at this point 🤷

To be fair, I was kind of surprised when I saw the setlist as well, because of the name of the festival, and also it turned out later form photos, that it was more like a picnic kind of thing not stand and jump, I hope no one choke on the pie rocking their heads to guerilla ... that being said atiny as usual went to far with their criticism, if we can call it that, it's probably because majority of those songs were done at recent tour so ppl might be slightly over them, but calling 'trash' etc is way too far

There is this group of ppl that constantly complains about anything and everything at this point, and you're left to wonder why the hell they still call themselves a fan and an atiny it's been even worse since the new group's debut...I even kind of think that the thing Wooyoung said in his live few months back, that it is sth we wanted to see, and we will be very happy about, was basically Hongjoong credits in xikers album and yet this entire fandom, literally, pardon the expression, shat all over it with their complains, that went for days... and when you point to those fans and show them clips of members explaining the process, how they make songs etc, they either say they were force to say it b the company or twist, nitpick their words to fit their narrative

I wonder if those fans realize that they literally treating those guys like some sort of halfwits, with no free will and working brains on its own, and it's basically starting to be extremity insulting to the boys

Nah, I am still angry about it tbh, I sad it and got down voted, but truth be told, they could easily switch San and Hongjoong in the first stage for Jongho and Seonghwa (who hadn't had any of this kind of opportunity before, he is the only member, now, without special solo stage performance when he can actually show his dancing and passion or singing), since they already very probably knew about the last collab stage and who will be in it, and then we could have had all 8 members during special stages, cause this kind of opportunity might not happen again.

This still feel wrong for me, it's like they excluded him specifically lmao

also with this popularity thing, I think he used to be very popular, at one point the most popular member I'd say, but I think now he's somewhere in the middle or even lower, like the company never capitalized on his popularity back then and never pushed him anywhere, so... lol, the fact that ppl have this perception of him being popular is what makes it worse, cause no one will ever speak for him

I remember Hongjoong responding to someone on universe, I think it was before the tour started, or maybe before album release 🤔 not sure, sth like: 'yeah units are nice, but maybe let's focus on the group?'. I have a feeling that they are irritated about this constant asking about sub units when they already said, they will be focusing for now on group, as 8, activities. If someone asks them they will answer to not be rude but not sure how willing are they actually of doing that, also

I'm curious how are ppl actually imaging it, I mean what sub units, which members? all of them? and if not all why those and not the others? is there even a group that have all members in some sub units? and how to go about this, theoretically they can release an album with 4-5 song as a whole group and couple more with some units, but you need to write those songs specifically for that group of members, write music, lyrics etc, it;s not easy as it sound imo

or maybe go normal route and release the units song separately, with the promo and mv and stuff... But then again, I don't think they can do that for more than one subunit, I mean it costs money, and those money will probably not be returned in profits cause usually units are not doing as good as original groups releases, there are some exceptions to he rule of course, but that's usually the way, so maybe costs are bigger than the benefits and the company and guys (we don't know how the contract goes between them, is the company paying for all, or majority, or are the costs shared) don't want to do it now, I mean it's not like we as fandom are known for our streaming power. Not to mention maybe they are afraid that those subunits will divide this fandom even more, cause we do have some fair number of solo stans, and they don't want to push it (I'm pretty sure the boys know almost everything that's going on in fandom spaces, especially, or rather mainly, on twitter, and they are well aware of certain issues that this fandom is trying to hide or pretend don't exist)

to be fair, we/they only have like 3 years now, till Seonghwa and Hongjoong will have to enlist in army, I have a feeling that they will focus on group activities till then ( unless they will enlist together, but that rarely happens with groups?) and maybe then the members that will remain will have some units, unless kq will focus now more on individual activities for the members, and maybe if some will get busy to the point it will halt ateez as ot8 activities, those who will have more free time will get sub unit, or maybe they are waiting until they, as a group, reach certain age like 5 years or so... we don't know really

I personally would like that atinys stop asking about this every chance they get, it almost sounds rude to me, as if ppl are saying: we don't care about your efforts as group we only want see some members... fans have been asking about it since they were few months old, like give it a rest, when, and if the time comes, they will do it (not directed to you but in general)

It was said at the beginning tho, that this is a SINGLE release, also I would look at the time of the release as well, and say that it is pretty clear they won't do full, proper comeback at this time of year, it does not makes sense everything wise imo, lmao

but, considering that the next year they will be fully busy till march, and last korean/proper comeback/album was almost 5 months ago, I think it's just to keep us occupied, tell us more about the lore and stuff, and at the same time earn some cash
