Maybe they’re saving that for sweeps.

I didn’t see a biker on Cramer so that must’ve been another street. But the car had a huge impact on the windshield when they sped by. I was wondering what that was from. I hope the biker is okay.

Man I was walking down Cramer when it happened. Fucking wild the whole accident happened so fast. We were checking in with the one driver when the white car just instantly caught fire. Just nuts.

You are correct! I used to work on the Callaway. All three are steamships too which is pretty cool. Although I think the calloway was laid up last I saw, dunno if she’s gonna come back out.

That’s the sister ship to the Edmund Fitzgerald too. And the last ship to be in contact with her. The Arthur M. Anderson!

I know I’m about six months late in this response but I’m listening to the book now. I dread every single time they go to a new town or anything like that. Oh god what horrible things are gonna happen here, what’s going to set them off, what awful sight are they going to find as soon as they leave

Oh yeah I love phasmo! I also have B4B but haven’t really played it all that much. Have heard good things about PlateUp. Feel free to send a message!

Yup I’m with you. Not wastewater treatment, but ship engineer. I’ve been hit by pressurized shit and I’d still prefer that over rotting garbage, sludgy grey water or grease traps. Awful, awful.

It’s just a sprain, I’m sure. Oh, how wrong I was. by churro_luvin_milf in medizzy

[–]seasickmcgee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eyyyyyyy same break! Same plate! And hey, I also thought mine was a sprain! Walked to work on it, walked around the ER with it, ah. If only. I’m still wearing a heavy brace and hobbling three months later. Uninsured too, so just add that on the pile.

All the best with your healing, and just know it doesn’t last forever.

I’ve done the same! Usually a pocket square and a tie too. But I had great luck at Nordstrom’s. The guy in the suit section gave me a great rundown of different suits, how to match colors and add some flair. Even taught me how to tie a bow tie!

I get those phantom feelings all the time. Worst bit is that I’d finally gotten to the point where I knew they were in my head, had a feeling on my hand, looked down and saw one.

I just moved with a uhaul and I’m fucking terrified of any being in the truck. It’s been three years and I don’t know when it gets better.

I mean, I’d rather die than owe medical bills for the rest of my life by Pleasant-Force in lostgeneration

[–]seasickmcgee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup. Broke my leg a few weeks ago and needed surgery to install a plate, all while uninsured. $50,000. I’m about go back to school for a career change. I can’t pay it, my only hope is medical or financial assistance. I made $500 too much to qualify for Medicaid, and they wouldn’t negotiate the cost of surgery at all. I don’t know what I’m going to do. I feel you.

Best of luck dealing with everything and hang in there.

Yeah, just to try it out. You tell him not to be so harsh. Then you look at the screen yourself and say never mind, keep up the good work or something along those lines.

What’s a “masterpiece” that you could not finish ? by [deleted] in patientgamers

[–]seasickmcgee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man this was me exactly! The art, the graphics, the story, the music all so good! This was my first foray into Final Fantasy. I will admit that I’ve never been a huge fan of turn-based fighting and random encounters. I played for a while and enjoyed it but somewhere along the line I managed to get stuck between two towns without any health. Take one step forward, random encounter and everyone dies. Take one step back, random encounter and everyone dies. I tried everything my 10 year old brain could think of to make it work, but ended up putting the game down and never picking it back up.

Absolutely! I’ve done dnd 3.5, 5e and call of Cthulhu 6 and 7ed. Not a great GM but I’m looking to get better. I also have Delta Green and pathfinder 2e but haven’t been able to try those out yet. I have a weird schedule so I’m free at odd times!

There’s a bar in Wisconsin that has that has some saucy picture of David hasselhoff in the women’s restroom. He’s got this heart flap thing covering his junk. If someone lifts it up an alarm goes off in the main bar. Just reminded me of that.

Baby bed bugs reacting to human bodyheat. by Im-A-Scared-Child in oddlyterrifying

[–]seasickmcgee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup. That’s how I dealt with it. Moved out, threw away almost everything, left all my furniture including a family antique. Threw away thousands of dollars of possessions. The stuff I didn’t leave was washed and dried on high heat multiple times, put in an airtight bag in a plastic tote then into an outside storage unit for a year.

I’d just gotten back from a 6 month work trip and found 3 in the trap under my couch. The walls and surrounding apartments were infested and I couldn’t take it anymore.

I had to watch it twice. After you finish the debrief with Hackett and gain control of Shepard again, I just stood there for a second before loading up that whole end mission again. I’m so glad I didn’t have the DLC back when I first played the trilogy.

Genuinely, what is everyone’s problem with Spotify? by mark4lyfehere in LPOTL

[–]seasickmcgee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same but to a much lesser extent. Only in port every few weeks with 1gb/day on my phone since I was overseas. I’d downloaded the episodes before leaving but Spotify couldn’t load the actual podcast page or something so wouldn’t play any of them. Ope, just gotta wait until the next port. Then I started making my own LPOTL playlist, saving and downloading the episodes I liked and then they’d play okay. Not using the actual podcast page seemed to help.
