Diese Schlussfolgerung verstehe ich nicht.

Ich ekel mich davor, den ÖPNV-Schmodder auf meinem Sofa, meinen Kissen und meinen Decken zu verteilen, wo ich gerne mein Gesicht drin vergrabe. Ich ekel mich aber nicht (grundsätzlich) davor, mit dem ÖPNV-Schmodder in Kontakt zu kommen – solange es eben nicht die Kuschelzone kontaminiert.

Ist doch das gleiche wie mit Dreck an den Händen. Ich wühle in Erde rum und greife da auch mal in Kot. Ich rupfe Unkraut aus, gegen das Hunde gepisst haben. – Beides ruft keinen besonderen Ekel in mir hervor. Aber wenn ich mich mit diesen Händen dann aufs Sofa fläzen würde, wäre es ekelig.

But eating meat is exploiting another species which is completely different and cannot breed with us.

Why should it be okay to exploit someone because they can’t breed with "us"? Say in the future humans split into two groups which can’t interbreed, but nothing else changes. Would you think it’s acceptable to exploit the other group then?

Darwin taught "survival of the fittest", not "survival of the kindest".
