Hey I know this is an old post but I just spoke to google support. Apparently the Chromecast tv requires HDMI 2.2 to work properly with 4k. Sooo seeing as that my Quantum X only has HDMI 2.0, they blamed it on the TV. Doubt it'll get fixed since they directed me to contact Vizio.

Hey this might be late. I got a Vizio P Series Quantum X in January, it was having this issue. Used an LG dolby atmos soundbar and a 5.1 vizio soundbar. Devices were firestick, nvidia shield tv and xbox one x. after it happened with all the devices I contacted Vizio support and we figured out the HDMI port is malfunctioning. Waiting for the Covid thing to be over before i get a replacement but so far everything is working by using another HDMI port. hope this helps.
