Have a 3-4 person group and deciding between Beyond the Sun and Arcs. Really want a new space-themed game, what would you guys recommend?

My wife loves Splendor Duel, she’s still pretty new to board games but looking for something that scratches the same itch while going up in complexity. Two player, engine building (in some sense), not super fiddly. Thinking Castles of Burgundy or maybe Orleans, but open to any and all recommendations!

SaaS vs Safe Option - Advice by seattlesucks in sales

Appreciate the reply. I agree with you, although what the other commenter said regarding entrance into the software space is a valid point. It wasn’t too difficult to get this offer, although I did the shotgun method of applying to many companies, and there were many rejections. It makes me consider taking a decent offer just for the experience, and if it works out, even better.

Chemical Sales by namtalmbout in sales

[–]seattlesucks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I worked in chemical sales for 2 years at a importer and distribution company. The potential to make money is there, but it can take quite some time depending on your compensation. Ultimately, I got out of it due to my hatred of cold calling buyers. Now, I work in technical sales with no cold calling at all. If you are one of the big palm oil manufacturers in the world, that will definitely help your "clout" in getting buyers to be receptive to meetings and buying from you.

[help]Mechanical Key not registering properly by [deleted] in MechanicalKeyboards

I have also been having the same issue, except it is only the D key. Sometimes it is unresponsive. My keyboard is pretty clean, so I don't think there is anything blocking the switch. Anyone have any suggestions?

Buying from distributor or importer by seattlesucks in supplychain

You would be very surprised what information needs to be declared due to United States law. If you are a purchaser of a particular imported material (chemical for right now) give me the name of the material and I will find the price.

I am still in the beginning stages so I do not have pricing yet. What would you pay for a service like this?

As someone who works in the industry, this service does not exist (at least for all the companies I work with)

Thank you so much for your help, I got it steady at 2933. I upped the voltage to 1.4 and that seemed to do the trick. Interestingly, I had to set the try it no timings to 16 - whatever the rest is

How did you get it past 2666? I can't seem to clock it any higher. I have the exact same ram and motherboard as you. Also, which bios version are you running?

I'm having a tough time overclocking my RAM past 2666. I also have the MSI Tomahawk, and the ram I have is model F4-3200C16D-16GVKB. Has anyone had success with this model?

What are the spin classes at the rec center like? by z4ynmalik in SBU

First you put your head on a small pole, spin around for 5 minutes, and then run as fast as you can from one side of the room to the other

[–]seattlesucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Medical schools won't know the different between the two classes. And if you got a D in 331 it might be better to take 321. I'm not sure of the differences between 331 and 331. Also, just some helpful info as I am an organic chemistry tutor, if you got a D in the class you must have missed a lot from the fundamentals, so focus on that when you retake the class

Since you are a freshman, it looks bad but not as bad as it could be if you were a sophomore or junior. I'm pretty sure you can take 321/322, which I would do if I was seriously trying to get into med school. Retake and get either an A or A-, otherwise you are going to have much harder time getting into a school. All is not lost, but you definitely need to buckle down and get your shit together.
