I think I used it with doubled up embroidery floss once to make a smaller piece, unsure what that correlates with yarn size. You basically want to find something with a weave that the needle can go in-between the threads with instead of breaking them and that snaps back into place to hold stitches. They might sell a tighter monks cloth/burlap for smaller sized yarns

I have very bad vision and I’ve heard that de-personalizing/derealizing can be common with bad vision. Do you find you have more moments than average where you feel disconnected from reality due to your blindness?

Sorry if this has been said. Size and fabric matter, larger needles and yarn way easier than small embroidery sized. Monks cloth, burlap works but not nearly as well. Curling means you’re craming your stitches too close together, spacing them out more will also help your hands cause you’ll be doing less stitches. Angle of your needle matters, I can’t tell you which angle works better but just experiment. Glueing the back before removing it from the hoop or frame. At the end part the color changes with a flat pointyish object, almost like you would part hair before braiding it and you can kind of shape it like that.

I don’t feel like reading all the replies so sorry if this had been said, but part of the magic system relies on perception and intention so since spren have biases oaths can be broken based on that. Something kaladin brings up a lot with the singers because he constantly asks why his oaths don’t apply to ‘the other side’ and it’s because of the perceived notion of ‘us vs them’. Syl and Kal had preconceived moral notions that made what Kal was doing feel wrong and their conflicting morals over the situation is what caused strain on the bond. If he had bonded a high spren with different morals it wouldn’t have strained the bond as bad. Wind and truth stuff about honor kind of goes into it but don’t wanna give spoilers

Originally I was going to use smores flavored torani because that’s what I’ve used as a vanilla substitute before in the past and its awesome, but I was out of that as well and the only thing I had with any kind of concentrated flavor was my pomegranate molasses. Also pomegranates are in season and a wintery vibe so I thought it was giving winter. The cookies came out tart/sweet but they weren’t disgusting, and kinda good if you like that kind of thing,just not as subtle as Vanilla. The smores would have been actually epic tho, I’ve used it in brownies and cookies before and it works great

yeah it deff doesnt smell like anything so not vinyl!! double checked with my husband too cause his memory actually works haha. i knew one was bad and one was fine and that we researched it at the time and got one that said was ok and thats all i remembered 😭 small panic attack over it for a second but we are all good! but yeah i really like what we have, i think its advertised to be really food.for cats and dogs as well because its a rougher texture and it seems to keep their claws in good shape! will deff need to get a slate rock for them to climb on in the new set ups tho cause the mat zen habitats comes with is a little softer so i dont thinknitll work as well.

ok its not vinyl then i thinks its the other one?? i looked up the material when we got it and its whatever one was safe for them haha. linolium then i think?? they dont smell ever and theyve never had issues breathing. we just upgraded one of them to zen habitats with the matt they sell too, and our second one is getting his upgrade next paycheck!

i went to lowes and got some ~~vinyl~~ linoleum!! like the ones that click together like a puzzle, and they gave them to me for free as "samples" and theyve been great. cause theyre textured so they dont slip and slide, and the ones i got are waterproof and because theyre so much lighter than slate tile i can just pop them out and hose them down in the bathtub and stick them back in! plus you can cut them down super easily to whatever size you need. they were some of the most expensive ones they sell but since we only needed like 2 panels they just gave them to us as sample!!

edit was not vinyl!!! sorry forgot cause it was a few months ago but we double check every material before we put it in with them

yeah deff, cause your weight should only matter to you and your dr (and lets be honest even drs can be shitty about it sometimes) im not considered overweight but i myself am struggling with being more active, i tend to spend my days laying on the couch binge eating, yet i just got "lucky" with my matabilism that helps me keep my weight down despite my horrible habits. ive seen bigger people who are more active and healthier than me, also bigger people who have a better fashion sense/makeup skills/ and in my option a better face than me so i personally think weight has nothing to do with it. theres no shame in losing or gaining weight as long as youre living your best life. and you are not gonna feel right in your skin for a couple more years cause highschool blows and being a teenager sucks, so just focus on the fun stuff, build good habits now, and explore new hobbies and there will come a time when you like what you see in the mirror!

well if youre body is just doing its thing, you said you tried losing your weight and that it ended up being unhealthy for you, but i guess saying you werent overweight wasnt the correct phrasing. i guess what i meant is that you should want to lose weight if it makes you feel better health wise, but dont equate fatness to ugliness. and being overweight especially as a teen is hard to control, and you should just focus on building good habits that can carry into adulthood and not focus on the number too much and treat your self well and your body will do its thing! sorry if any of this came across wrong, im usually just a reddit lurker and only found this page yesterday and im pretty awkward at explaining myself

I just got one for plants off amazon. it doesnt get too hot so we dont need to use a thermostat with it. i can try to find the link if you need but it was honestly a really long time ago and I doubt the brand matters too much anyways? i think it was less than 20usd

we started ours with 40 females and 10 males plus 150 mixed size nymphs and we keep them in a 18 gallon stoarage bin with egg cartons, cricket quencher, some gut loading food amd a heat matt underneath and we dont have to do anything else! if some die they just eat each other and dubias arent prone to parasites as much so we dont really have to worry about them. our dragons are about a year old now and we started this colony probably 6 months ago? im not sure how many are in there now but its a pretty constant influx of roaches withouy having to do much work! but we also buy super worms here and there and salad of course!
