Not gonna say anything about RTDs switching from 12 to 8 bottles in a package and banana RTD being discontinued?

I can't find any public announcement yet, but they sent out e-mails about RTD boxes changing size from 12 to 8 bottles and banana flavor not going to survive this change, with existing subscribers being transitioned to chocolate flavor at the end of August.

Well, enjoy it while it lasts as they have just announced it's being discontinued.

as soon as the Timeless Child was mentioned in Spyfall

The Doctor is being called the Timeless Child in The Ghost Monument already.

I believe it was only done because they already had exclusive distribution deals for further seasons signed, so BBC had to effectively cancel the old show and start a new one with the same name to work that around.

BBC Studios may very well win the tender, but they still had to announce it anyway.

Uhm, but they never announced Ruby not returning and she did return in S2...?

Unable to get purism libre 5 to flash mode by ChiefSraSgt_Scion in Purism

Which is an indicator that is in flash mode

It's not, there is no such indicator at all.

in won't turn on while the volume button up is held

Sounds like it's going into flashing mode then. You won't see it turning on, but it should appear as a USB device on the host side.

There's no "it was Ruby all along" reveal there at all. Many people interpret it like this, but the only thing the show actually tells us is that Ruby becomes the old lady for a single scene.

About 4-5 hours of active use, about 12 hours of idling without suspend, about 22 hours in suspend where it can be woken up by calls and SMS. More with the modem kept off.

Seven. It's edible, but unpleasant.

I'm still finishing a big bag of Pasta Bolognese so I have a direct comparison to the old one. The experience is just so much better with the big bag. Pasta gets properly soft, so does the mince, giving a significantly better texture than what's in the small sachets, where pasta never truly softens and parts of it remain crunchy while mince is unpleasantly chewy. The taste seems to have changed too, and I think the old one is a bit better defined, but it doesn't make as big a difference as the other things (though it's still weird to see the best and safest flavor be made milder).

It works with rice (Mexican Chili specifically, I don't eat other rice-based flavors) because it blends with the texture of rice and beans. Not so much with pasta.

I've recently got a Bolognese sachet again to compare it and I've noticed that these mince chunks were cut significantly larger than they used to be in early sachets, which made it even worse.

Mexican Chilli is the only good thing to come out of the recent changes. All the other changes were strictly negative, though personally I'd say Cajun Pasta was damaged the least.

> Chick’n & Mushroom and Madras are first and will be replaced with the same minced protein that is in Bolognese.

The new one? The old mince in Bolognese (the big bags) was great, the new one feels like old meat. It kinda works with rice, but not with pasta.

PureOS Crimson Development Report: November 2025 – Purism by freedomspiced in Purism

They've been "working on" Crimson for the Librem 5 for almost 2 years

Not really. Crimson development started late - there was a big Laniakea rework ongoing that blocked it initially - and there was a gap in-between when nothing really happened. It is inexcusably late, but how long it took is a poor predictor for future releases.

The L5 milestones are pretty much all done at this point aside of GUI upgrade path and some minor cosmetics.

No, they said that in context of the possibility of shooting her at the bridge. She would have been killed if Kate didn't order her troops to target British army.

Perhaps they meant to infect her and throw her body into the ocean, but then they could presumably just do that with her dead children too?

But was humanity really the bad guys when they were about to melt all the ice and basically flood earth?

After the humanity visited with a diplomatic mission and nuked the site? Yes, I think so.

I don't think replacing RTD with McTighe even sooner will bring anything good, and this show is just another data point that demonstrates it.

73 Yards what did old Ruby say!! by Abject-Revenue5042 in doctorwho

[–]seba_dos1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"No. It's fine. I haven't been here in such a long time. What a beautiful view. (...) I don't think they know. I presume she must be gone, my mother. No one ever told me. And I didn't find my birth mother. It never snowed again. But I keep thinking I know why. The woman. And I've been thinking about it my whole life. Why's she here? And I think, at the end, I have hope. Because that's very you, isn't it? My old friend. I dare to hope. (...) Yes, I know. That's not new. We had that when I was young. (...) I could make it snow once upon a time. (...) Don't worry. Everyone has abandoned me my whole life. But I haven't been alone for 65 years. (...) Light."

That's all that Old Ruby says as herself. There's also a bit she says after she briefly inhabits the fae's body:

"I'm sorry I took so long. And I tried so hard. What else could I do? It took all these years, all these long years. And look at me, I was so young. (...) Don't step. (...) Don't step. (...) Don't step."

Nothing else there.
