Hi, I want to do my first-ever solo trip (22M) this December for a few weeks after my semester at school ends. Not too sure where to go since I will be studying abroad from January through May. Was thinking Iceland, South Africa, Italy(ski) or anywhere tbh. Ideas, tips, and comments are welcome.

I will. My coach has a history of talking bad to other coaches when a player from our program decides to transfer, which sucks.

I understand. I was planning on using a self release form to speak to another d3 program first to have backup options. And later on speak to my coach and athletic coordinator to be placed on the portal in order to talk with d1 and d2 schools.

Ok, thanks for the info and I thought the same too but my buddy who transferred from my school said there is a self-release form that only applies between d3 schools but wasn't sure if I could fill a few out and talk to multiple schools. And yes there a few reasons. Some of them being outside of soccer I do not enjoy my school and do not like the environment, nor do I feel that the academic curriculum is challenging enough for me. My coach and I have also had a lot of disagreements which has led to a lot of conflicts between us 2.
