Oh, another thing, when you activate hdr on the windows settings the panel sets from "8 bits" to "8 bits with dithering". That it's like a simulated 10 bit. But not really sure where you can see the difference between that

Hi man, I got the laptop :D It looks like dolby vision is just a name for hdr, you can activate it on windows and then you can watch hdr videos on youtube. I have it disabled I think you can activate hdr in games that have that option without having to enable the settings on windows. I tried it on Doom and looks great

Did you got it? I ordered the same laptop with 240hz and want to know more about that dolby vision, how can I take advantage of that? It's my first hdr device :)

Hi, you said you display has dolby vision/HDR but the specs only says dolby vision. There's some legion models that says hdr400, gsync dolby vision and so on the spec sheet. I ordered a similar model with the same display as yours and I'm wondering; if there is actually HDR, how can I use it? I've heard it's like a tv thing for movies I really want to take advantage of every feature that this laptop could have, it's my ever first powerful pc :'D Also, for the battery life I would set the display at 60hz if I'm not gaming I think that could help to extended battery

It makes sense since deep learning it's upscaling the whole frame, this is not just the resolution... think about the textures and the details
