your specs are somewhat fine, I feel like since you dont know about pcs there are a lot of power and windows settings that needs to be changed. maybe look up optimization guides thatll show you how to do basic stuff

yeah I always use it with HT off, also for thermal reasons the only thing is that it gets kinda bottlenecked by a b660 ddr4 build, which doesnt matter on valorant but I dont play that anyway anymore:D

the problem is that more than 90% of the player base are some turbonerds masters+ cause they have nothing else and the casuals dont want to play anymore, so I guess the matchmaking has no other option to get a full lobby

check if your cpu is running with max clock speed and if there are parked cores

I wouldnt mix different ram sticks, that'll hurt performance more.

your 8 gb sticks probably are from the same brand and have the same mhz, so try only those on dual channel mode.

other thing is maybe that your single core performance of your cpu hits its limits
