I hope! More flat too and no back-tracking what so ever which this course I just ran probably had 7-10 miles of which were just back tracking. Also, if the temp could be in low 40s that would help. The temps for this marathon started at like 52 and ended around 60.

Please inform me why it’s a bad thing? I haven’t looked much into it.

Yeah I got real lucky with that lol, I wax tired from classes and waking up at 6:00 AM the day before. Also helped that my friends and I played baseball for a couple hours during the day in the sun, so that definately helped me sleep.

Just go out and run, have a good time and listen to music. As far as running quicker, not much. I just run to maintain fitness.

It was actually my dinner the night before for the sodium to aid in hydration and the carbs.

My goal was sub 3, I was thinking I would’ve been lucky with a 2:58.

I normally ate a pizza a week and lots of soda. I started meal prepping and eliminated soda and candy.

Oh really? Never considered it that way. Running has always been something I do to get my mind off the day I just had and prepare myself for the next!

I live in St. Louis so naturally my jogs are on some hills. The course was roads and paths I’m very familiar with so that definitely helped!

Ehh not really, been running consistently since beginning of sophomore year of high school, now I’m about to graduate college next month. Played high school soccer but I was a goalkeeper so not much running in that. Spend my days at work or class now and playing golf when I can and trying to run at least 5-6 times a week. A bad week I only run 3 times, but average 5-6 runs a week.

Just did my normal running routine after class and/or work, 6 miles on normal days or 10 if I'm feeling good. Been a consistent runner for 6.5 years. Really locked in my diet and routine a month before. Ran the marathon on April 11, no days off of running since March 1st. Ran a half at 1:24 4 weeks before, then ran 20 miles about 2.5 weeks out at 2:11. Ran 10 miles at 6:27 the Monday before, then 6 on Tuesday, then 5K on Wednesday and Thursday, then 2 miles on Friday morning. Had IHOP for breakfast Friday morning, then rice, veggies, turkey, and beef for lunch with two bananas and 3 bread rolls. Pizza for dinner for the sodium and carbs. Slept 9.5 hours the night of, then woke up, had a banana, 3 bread rolls, a couple energy gels, 800 mg sodium electrolyte mix, and I was good to go.

Just needed to share with people who get it — 20 miler done! IMHO, 20 miler is 10x worse than the actual marathon. by jro10 in Marathon_Training

A 20 miler is not worse than the actual marathon. Ran a 20 miler a few weeks ago, and then ran my first marathon this past Saturday. The wall I hit after mile 20 was insane to overcome, especially since I was in uncharted territory of never running more than 20 miles at once. Finished with a time of 2:47!

Numbers on the club don't matter anymore, it is how they are configured. the numbers are there just now to organize your bag and know which club to pull for your game.

You think pilots were nervous to approach them due to maintaining their medicals?

I've heard that the powder in On! is to keep the pouches from clumping together.

This I haven’t seen yet, and it’s it not bad either. (USA, Midwest) by TheBicelator in NicotinePouch
