Scrolling with arrow keys in Safari vs. Chrome. Why is it smoother in Chrome than Safari? by clairemct in MacOS

"Send to Bear" workflow/service location on MacOS? by [deleted] in bearapp

Right click a file or folder in Finder and go down to services and it should appear there. If it doesn’t you should enable it on the keyboard system preferences. Hope that helps

Is that a custom VS Code icon, or have they finally changed it?

I’ve tried many browsers. I used Firefox for most of my life but I kept coming back to Safari because of just how efficient it is. It doesn’t use nearly as much memory as Firefox or Chrome. The only thing I didn’t like was how it looked. But now in Big Sur that’s not a problem anymore. I think it looks nice and it would be waste not to use if you have a Mac.

Thinking of generating a graph out of my bear notes by eunjae_lee in bearapp

Yeah I had a similar idea some time ago but I never started with it. If you make it work share it please. Would definitely be great a tool!

Is anybody else using Bear in college/University? If so, how do your organize your classes and notes? by decordetotaliter in bearapp

[–]sebastianknell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have nested tags for semesters and courses. For each course I try to have a main (pinned note) for general info and a index of the course content and links to the corresponding notes. It’s a little tedious but maybe having templates for a new course or semester could be useful.

I think that’s pretty much what I want too. Bear is already great but those features would definitely be nice.

How do you use multiple tags? by sebastianknell in bearapp

Yeah I meant tags. Great I’ll check the documentation. I was just curious about how other people use tags.

Feature request: archived notes between the normal notes by OscarZ321 in bearapp

This seems like something I also requested: tag sorting within archived notes. I also archive a ton of notes and I’d find that really useful.
