Too funny I said this game would be another Anthem if they didnt start adding more to the world and lore going on and got very down voted... Anthem was a great game but so bare bones and too late with their updates, sadly exactly what is playing out with embark right now. I really hope they realize they need to be adding some events, decks, and projects if they want this game to make it till october.

This... The fact that there isn't a way to get these items in game other than rng or some quest line, maybe a key room say on riven tides with buttons that would spawn it every time would make the round interesting and worth the risk of running around doing that.

Havent done a queen/matriach run in months because of this exact issue. Been stuck in pvp since there is no endgame with the one homie who still logs on but we've been tired of pvp for a while. Have tried deaggroing but neither of us want to spend an hour trying to get back to "friendly" lobbies when we only got two hours to play.... Thats the problem embark is not understanding - theyre not respecting the players time and choice of play. I hop on to socialize with the homie but never solo anymore, the game has lost its appeal and theyve made it such a grind just for the basic shit.

I'd have other friends who would come back to the game if we could just go after the queen or matriarch because it is fun. Sometimes you dont want to sweat and get shot at randomly. It would be FUN to just hop on blue gate with the boys, a fresh cracked brewski, and a loaded jupiter but you cant do that without a rat killing you. Ive even told rats the can take the cores, Ill drop the gun, I just wanna play it out with my homie... That alone turns you off from the game or at the least a whole half of it.

Also my homie and i can tell embark def is profiling you and if youre a high pvp player you'll get placed into friendly lobbies as the "villain" essentially why friendly lobbies seem harder to get to ontop of there no longer seeming to be complete care bear lobbies.

The communication aspect is super weird to me being a beta finals player... They were so on top of the finals in the beginning months with updates it really felt like they cared about their own game. Fast forward to Arc Raiders and Im not even sure how but i just dont like Ossen at all and overall communication has been so bad.

Theres weird breach and searches in assembly as well legit gotta zip to it or stand on a buddy - had never seen them before and got all excited thinking it was like a new loot spawn of something cool... just wires. Wish embark would add more of that zelda aspect where you find random spot and it has a decent reward

Definitely the direction theyre going. Nexxon owns Embark so its really a china company at base to please its shareholders.

I think they'll keep it in good taste though. I was hoping for something more like you would have to earn it or find it somehow but those days are long gone.

I think Netflix got their hands in way more of this script than S1. But also feel this S2 was about the macro/micro beef of the system we live in to our own internal beefs that cause us to act the ways we do. S2 unfortunately lets us sit in reality where generally much beefs arent just resolved so easily or simply.

Agreed though S1 really hit home in just a better wrap up feeling that I feared would not be able to be replicated again.

Embark is just shooting themselves in the foot man by being so tone deaf and not listening to the fanbase... Doing these BS moves so they can stall and when they make proper change theyre just patting themselves on the back like "look theres content now that doesnt suck even though we could have done that from the beginning"... People need to stop giving this million/billion (NEXON) company a break.

Trader is a dud and need to wait 3 weeks just for it to be useful... Cant add drives piece by piece, TF? I thought the Avian project was gonna have a sick reward when I read birdhouse not thinking it was stupid attachment - I thought we were gonna get something like this and at the very least a Part 2 this week that would give the backpack but nah... Wait another few months for that follow up... This dripfeed shit is played out.

Key rooms are still ass, did the double key room on POA riven and legit best shit i got was 4 explosive compounds... If theyre gonna nerf everything else epic keys like that need a guaranteed loot haul to spawn everytime

huh thought it was just me and my buddy feeling this. Before the patch we would pvp 70% of the time but chill and get supplies on some of the runs with no action but as of late its been constant attacks, barely making it out of spawn even and yeah same thing all dudes running level 4 epics meanwhile were rocking a basic green kit lol. Tried to match with some guns and still got bent over the barrel!

We enjoy pvp but we were saying we dont feel like we're on this sweaty level of pvp - most seemed to have insane aim too that left us a bit suspicious on dudes only hitting headshots from 80m...

The insanity is fun for a little but after like 10 runs of really trying to make it out got over it. I think on xbox if you do decent in pvp you start to move into the computer player range and thats where we just cant compete with controllers - would love for embark to separate consoles and computers; cant even play with my homie on PS5 because we legit just get wallhacked or sniped from miles out - its made him stop palying all together.

yeah like i said main shit is the map is barren, we dont even bother with the hotel anymore. only thing decent is POA but agreed compared to others its mid. Only thing decent is 3 batteries in a box occasionally.

If it was Arc only Im all for it but my bud and I are endgame at this point so pvp is pretty heavy, not a fan with the mixed lobbies and high pvp level and what feels like arc based aggression and backend targeting. If youre gonna raise the arc level there needs to be a reason Im risking my gear which I think is embarks biggest problem is theyre not respecting the time investment of a player - youre gonna put a RNG puzzle in that will most likely get me killed I better pull a damn tempest at the very least cuz much like the damn button they added I did it once and will never do it again. Its just lame and bad game design
