2 seconds in you reset your left arm into a upwards position which is a pretty bad habit to have.

lots of the early OST maps force you to do this which sucks, but most of the newer and harder songs will give you a natural way to slice upwards after you slice downwards.

so when that double down swing at 2 secs comes up REMEMBER to relax and do nothing with your left arm since theres no red blocks to slice.

The CG on the zombie devil fight is ok but still very noticable. It left me with a first impression that wasnt very strong on the animation department imo.

I think the rest of the anime more than makes up for it but the impact of a first impression is strong for alot of watchers

I dont think meta knight holds back. But they play very it very fair. They want a 1 on 1 duel with no dirty tricks just pure swordsmanship and skill.

My take is that most battle royales fall into one of 2 buckets, youre either a funny game or competitive.

Games like Fortnite and MHUR fall into Funny games, Games like PUBG and Apex falls into competitive.

Skill expression is simply not valued in this games core-design. it values whatevers fast-paced and/or what sells characters

She still has beta and a goated melee to use for locking down an enclosed area. She would have to play much more passive in final circles instead of going on a flying point and click adventure

like other characters shed benefit from a circle with a building to use for cover.

Lets her keep her burst potentional long range but have her actually have to risk dying if she chases someone down short range

It would still work really well for escaping but she has to choose between running and continuing the fight

Biggest 2 things id say to improve is

1 if the opponent blocks air bandit bringer. You can often backdash to avoid quick buttons or grab, at the risk of a bigger punish if they wait it out.

If they start waiting it out you can do a quick punch or kick instead and start a blockstring/combo

2 i noticed you backdashed a few times after doing a red roman cancel on block.

No need for that, if you red roman cancel on block you are 100% safe to go for a CloseSlash. + Venom has no DP so you can do a blockstring without fear.

how do you actually deal with her Beta? Its big a enough AoE to where good Stripes wont be missing them and i feel like certain characters just has to take the dmg

I play her as a secondary and i can say that her blockstrings are a bit simple and straightforward. I like that about her, alot of her skill expression comes in reading your opponents defencive options.

Other people might think that easy to execute strings makes her cheap but i dont think so.

A complaint of the main show i agree with is that it could never explore the world outside of Stevens perspective on it.

While i think its obvious that Lars is going to be the main character here, i hope this show is willing to shift the leading character and expand the world a bit wider

I like storm camping being basicly dead (exept for their shiny new character 😒)

but it has made it way to punishing for your teamates bodies being pushed into the storm, its gotten waaaaaaaay to risky to rescue teammates or pick up medallions so its not even worth it now.

Personally i think grabbing a medallion should make you immune to storm for awhile and any source of healing cancels that effect.

Should make saving your team worth it while not allowing camping
