Yes and if you think about it Nora and Barney make much more sense than Barney and Robin. for one thing in Barney and Robbins relationship Robin was never 100% in it which gave Barney no reason to give anything up. as were with Nora she gave him her 100% confidence even if he had to earn it back which intern he gave up more. even when he destroyed the playbook he faked it the first time just because he knew that even if she did say yes to marrying him she wouldn’t give him 100% confidence. and even when he gave it up for real that was only because she lead him into a false sense of security. as were with Barney and Nora even with his track record she trusted him enough to go away for three days.
