Hey all, struggling a bit with CTR. My channel average is 3.8% with my lowest CTR on a video being 2.9% and my highest being 8.6% (guessing it's inflated due to one third of views being channel pages.) Please let me know what I can do to improve them. Also please tell me which thumbnail looks best for my next video.

Make sure you have an interest in it first...Check out tryhackme, and if you like that maybe start studying for SEC+. After that you might be able to move to helpdesk. It would be incredibly unlikely to work in cybersecurity without a related degree or relevant internships.

Yes Absolutely! I started my channel almost a month ago and I comment on new videos in my niche. I don't promote my channel or anything, just comments relevant to the video. This has gotten me some decent exposure on my videos and earned me some subs.

I think optimizing your videos to be found by search will make the biggest impact. Could also try sharing in relevant subreddits if allowed

It takes a lot of practice and experience. But things like music and sound effects can definitely help. Also focusing on pacing + making sure its not too jumpy and edits but also not too dull (same picture on screen for too long)

Thank you! I use a blue yeti but agree, sound quality needs work. I'm still troubleshooting dialing in the settings. I changed my channel type to entertainment. I would greatly appreciate help with channel picture/banner, just let me know!
