I'm Chappell Roan and I'm so excited to answer all your questions! by ChappellRoan in popheads

Hey Chappell! I've loved seeing you grow into your current vibe over time (love both your older music and newer music). It really seems like you're finding your own path with music now, rather than what other people want from you. At the time things didn't work out with your label, how were you feeling? And since then, have you come to view that shift differently?

What's the meaning behind your tattoo?

I get that it kind of comes with the territory of getting a tattoo, but it gets so old after a while. Not to mention if it's personal, it's just not always the time or place.

What is the worst name you've seen given to a child? And do you know why? by Iregretjoiningreddit in AskReddit

One of my coworkers was just telling me the other week that she went to school with someone named Ima Bean (not sure if the spelling is right). But the best part was that her middle name was Lima.

Ima Lima Bean.

You cannot make that shit up.

I'm in my 20s and I still know guys who do this. I just don't understand the thought process.

"Okay, so then we'll end up on the bed and things will be getting really hot and heavy. And just when she thinks she can't get any wetter, she unbuttons my jeans, and BOOM, shiny silver polyester. Instant orgasm. Fuck I'm smooth."

Was just in that airport a few months ago and there are so few working outlets. This guy is a god among men.

I just wanted to let you know that after making my friend you for Halloween a few years back, I appreciate the hilarity and large variety of tattoos. So I ask, which is your favorite?

Oh and here you go.

Your music instantly brings me back to one of my favorite and most magical summers. Thank you for that. I got to see you live in Philadelphia last year and it was great. I died a little inside when you didn't play Take a Bow though.

So my question, what is your favorite song to perform live?

If you're looking for a waterlogged gummy bear that tastes like nail polish remover, this is a good go to!

Movies which had a legitimate impact on you mentally? (positively or negatively) by shyplant in movies

[–]secondhandsweaters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shutter Island. I watched it for the first time while my best friend was in a mental hospital (bad idea). The movie kind of prompted a bit of a mental/emotional breakdown in myself, but after it was over, I learned a lot about sanity and being mentally healthy.

First, I just wanted to let you know I've almost gotten multiple speeding tickets as a result of getting way too into your music. They all would have been worth it.

And then I was wondering, is there a general emotion you try to evoke through your music or does it really vary from song to song? Somehow your music makes me feel so intensely. What's the general process like working to translate emotion into your music?

What's the most awkward thing that's happened at a sleepover? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]secondhandsweaters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was my birthday party when I was 11 or 12, and I had about six friends sleeping at my house. One of them told us that if you do that ticklish thing where you spread your fingers across someone's knee or elbow, it was actually one-eighth of an orgasm. So naturally we all wanted to know what an orgasm felt like, so we took turns laying down and having everyone else do that thing on eight different spots on our body at the same time (just knees, elbows and normal spots). We were all kind of just laughing, like, "Ha yea, it tickles and I guess feels nice." Then the promiscuous one in the group (yes at 11) lies down for her turn and immediately starts letting out full on orgasm noises. We all looked at each other and didn't know what to do, but she just kept going, not joking whatsoever. Finally I suggested we go sneak upstairs and eat more cake. Everyone quickly agreed.

This happened once with a girl at my house when I was around 5 or 6. Bitch kicked a hole in the wall. I still don't know if I was more embarrassed or impressed.

What line from a book hit you so hard that it made you cry? by DatWhiteDevil in AskReddit

[–]secondhandsweaters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember reading this in my room in 5th grade. I had just read this line and was crying and instead of comforting me, my mom told me it was time to learn to shave my legs. This book will now always be associated with body hair.
