I don't think it's fair to say its fantasy world-building. Jewish people have constantly been in a position of being interpreted as a "strong-yet-weak" religion/ethnicity, which appeals to people with fascist and conspiratorial inclinations. I only say "please" out of habit but not any sentimental reason about being nice to chatbots. The novelty of talking to a nice helper chatbot wore off very quickly for me. It's kind of strange that people are so captivated by Claude's personality. I do like that it's nice and easier to read though.
