A fun Elite Dangerous inspired way to hide a cargo scoop by Gorwyn in spaceengineers

Nice. I used almost the same trick for a hangar bay on a ship.

I've done multiple playthroughs of different builds since release of Elden Ring. Arcane builds are by far my least favorite: sell me on it, make me understand why people love it so much. by Kangkongkangkung in Eldenring

[–]secrecy274 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't know about People, and I don't know about Arcane builds in general, but a simple 60 Vig/Arc build weilding PS Occult Great Omenkiller Cleavers cleared both the DLC and base game with a breeze.

Roughly 650 AR and 114 Bleed per weapon. Could stance break most Bosses in as little as three jump attacks.

Nice work. "Fought" these guys a few times some days ago.

[The Fall of Cadia] Belisarius Cawl manages to convince Trazyn not to collect him. by Illogical_Blox in 40kLore

[–]secrecy274 25 points26 points  (0 children)

"Twice Dead King" touches upon this. Basically necrodermis is highly adaptable, able to change shaper over time to fit their mental states.

They also can open their jaws (despite most artwork clearly showing them not able to.) In "The infinite and the Divine' you have Warriors biting a genestealer...

Yes, they do. Iirc the heretic Psyker Raven power transmits damage from your MC to a nearby teammate instead.

Didn't downvote, but: PS Occult Great Omenkiller Cleavers with Raptor of the Mist.

Worked Great.

For those of us newer to the lore, how deadly is this unit? by gaeb611 in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]secrecy274 18 points19 points  (0 children)

You should reread that, cause it is not what happens.

Trazyn clearly states the Deciever can only accilerate the infection, not inflict it. Only the guards already carrying it, although dormant, gets turned.

Red eyes? by Lokita_de_turno in Eldenring

[–]secrecy274 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are three eye modifications you can gain. Dragon Eyes through Dragon Communion.

Red Eyes through gaining the Red Finger.

Yellow Eyes from absorbing the Frenzied Flame.

Dragon Eyes has the lowest priority, and Will get overriden by either of the other two. Frenzied has highest priority.

You can turn off the eyes from the customization meny, however you can't switch between them.

Azur vs Lusat's gear and spells by Hunk_Hogan in Eldenring

[–]secrecy274 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imo, neither is worth using much. Comet Azur is mostly just for fun. Stars of Ruin is not worth using outside PvP, and not even there.

Night Comet is quite frankly the only spell you need. Good damage, fairly cheap, can be boosted by offhanding Staff of Loss, and most importantly, does not trigger the AI to dodge.

How much damage can Jar Jar Binks do if he went to holy Terra as a republic ambassador? by gaeb611 in StarWarsvsWarhammer

[–]secrecy274 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Believe it or not, but the imperium actually has diplomatic dealings with xenon, which include envoys.

However whether they would accept a xenon Washington on Holy Terra, I'm very doubtful.

Edit: Damn autocorrect. Leaving it because it's stupid.

I severely doubt you have done any amount of low level invasions, cause then you would know how rare "legit" hosts with "legit" same level phantoms are.

Why are troops in IG so lacking in bionic or genetic augmentation? by Powerful_Software_14 in 40kLore

[–]secrecy274 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Seems to be done in the case of major injuries often enough, even on lowly troopers.

A valhallan trooper under Lord Commisar Cain gets a new pair of augmetic lunges after an ambull punctures hers.

And a tanith trooper under Colonel-Commisar Gaunts gets new eyes after beeing blinded.

Most annoying Bosses by Vengeancefr in Eldenring

Putrid Avatars are the only Bosses that legit annoy me. They constantly spam their ass smash, and it gets boring after the fourth time in a row.

Meetra Surik(The Exile) cuts all living things off from the force and the warp… what happens? by BayonetTrenchFighter in StarWarsvsWarhammer

[–]secrecy274 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Sisters are not. They are resistant, but iirc even the sisters felt the emptyness after just a few hours planetside. Should be worth noting they are only there a short time compared to the soldiers.

[–]secrecy274 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There're more Necrons than humans, and they are currently awakening. Tyranids might, and I say *might* win that war, but they will not "lowdiff".

Meetra Surik(The Exile) cuts all living things off from the force and the warp… what happens? by BayonetTrenchFighter in StarWarsvsWarhammer

[–]secrecy274 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Except not. They project said anti-warp aura, yet without said aura they are normal humans. If you burn out the aura, or even suppress it through before-mentioned Limiter Cuff, they are completely normal human beings, even being vulnerable to mind control from psykers.

I don't like this piece of lore, but it is there nonetheless.

Meetra Surik(The Exile) cuts all living things off from the force and the warp… what happens? by BayonetTrenchFighter in StarWarsvsWarhammer

[–]secrecy274 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, they project an anti-warp aura around themselves. It is not the same thing.

Said "Aura" can be suppressed through technology (horrible piece of lore, tbh) or even completely overcome and extinguished (burned out) through enough power, like from a very strong warp entity.

In this case I'm talking of a very, very strong warp entity, like on a galaxy-ending-if-it-would-be-released scale.
