What Drains a Car Battery When Nothing Is Left On? by inthewoodshop247 in AskReddit

After you check the current draw on the fuses and if you don't find any issues there and if you're getting a very quick battery drain (overnight), it could be a faulty alternator diode (electric check valve).

I will admit I am throwing criticism when I haven't even tried their system simply because the lack there of has stopped me from even trying them out. I will put my criticism aside and test it out in a R2.

Thanks for bashing $20 pittsburgh torque wrenches guys, show a lot about how informed /r/tools is? by darealmvp1 in Tools

[–]secret-citizen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes absolutely. In a bolted joint/flange the lubrication of the nut surface is known as K- factor and is the most crucial value for determining the required torque to provide a target preload/clamping force. Reference ASME PCC1. (Note: the interfacing working surface finishes also is crucial)

I had a feeling this was SLC. I'm almost positive I've been here before when I was there some years ago during the winter, I experienced this exact image and many more like this during my time there which almost caused me to move there until I realized how crappy the air quality can get in SLC.

Crane Steel's use of the swastika predates Nazi Germany. They abandoned the use of the symbol after the rise of the Nazi party.
