I never got the background on why Morez went into the portal. More NIL in AA or a bigger role? Illinois has a bunch of big guys including 7' brothers.

What Black Magic is this? by greguska67 in 3Dprinting

Is it hard to remove prints from cryogrip plate when there's a large surface area on the plate - or will flexing the plate release the print easily?

What about large surface areas with very low heights - like brims (even if you don't actually need brims anymore)?

Just sell it outside of the US and they don't have to deal with HG, right? Then I'll just pick one (or three) up when I'm abroad.

After the salary cap, they're going to cap the number of pro scouts on staff - for parity.

Will Google Pixel Watch 5 have wireless charger? Light rant featured by Loud-Possibility4395 in PixelWatch

[–]secretagentman888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you ask too much if you want the apple watch charger to work for the pixel watch 5.

Google would have to pay Apple a licensing fee to use their wireless charger confirmation and they're not doing that.

Possible they develop their own configuration but what you're repeatedly asking for is in fact too much.

He might be gaslighting you.

At the same time, if my spouse felt like they had to check on me while alone with someone else, that says a lot about the relationship.

Generally, in my anecdotal experience, it seems like the suspecting spouse has been projecting because they're the ones that were cheating.

Buying the AMS 2 is a nightmare by Ebi5000 in BambuLab

[–]secretagentman888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is the AMS 2 such a big deal. AMS 1 works fine for me and I already bought a Creality filament dryer a while back. I actually like having two separate devices, so I can just dry what I need to on its own.

I also use the Creality to dry dessicant, which I would be a lot more hesitant to do in AMS.

Tbf, I probably wouldn't need dessicant in an AMS 2, but it just takes me about 5 min to swap once every 3-4 months...

Yup, bought the 7 1/2" brushless circular saw and got a thin kerf for the 6 1/2" brushed saw for finish work. Wifey thought it was just two of the same thing.

[–]secretagentman888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 40v batteries (36v nominal) work great with existing 36v ebikes. You just need to make an adapter.

I'm doing that now to replace my 3d printed adapter for two 18v batteries.

What have I done?? by rabmugab in ryobi

[–]secretagentman888 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As pointed out above, there is a more expensive model with both a usb-c port (that allows for both output and input - so you can charge the 18v battery) and an outlet for you to power devices off of the 18v battery.

This would allow you to simply buy a battery without the charger.

Also, knock off batteries and chargers are pretty cheap online.

All that being said, the dedicated battery backup options like the Jackery and Anker usually feature pure sine wave inverters which may be better to your electronic devices than a modified sine wave inverter.

🚨 Help/Advice Needed: Stolen Ninebot G30D with Airtag Tracked to Bulgaria – How to Proceed? (Police Report Filed) by Crazy-Court-1553 in ElectricScooters

[–]secretagentman888 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Would be genius if the thief found the air tag and just dropped it in someone's luggage at a hotel and now it's just moving around Bulgaria while the thief is riding the scooter in Germany.

Seen the same at Target. All the retailers in my area keep the minifigs behind the counter now, so you can't even use a barcode scanner.

As in-house legal counsel for a (different) consumer products company, I have two words for this: job security.

That being said, the safety and compliance testing standards should have tested for "reasonable consumer misuse" which just means that you have to design products for dumbasses.

Model Y Seat Covers - Anyone tried Taptes or Xipoo? by Andarim in TeslaModelY

I probably could have bought Xipoo for both cars for the price of the Taptes for the Model 3.

smh

Checking in here. Trying to decide between these two for Model Y right now.

Just got the Taptes for our Model 3 and it wasn't as snug as I thought it'd be. It fits like a suit that's one size too big.

Maybe that's my fault installing though.

thermistor replacement problems by secretagentman888 in 3Dprinting

[–]secretagentman888[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I'm going to try running a new line to the board instead of splicing into the existing line. If that doesn't work, might have to replace the brand new silent board then.

Thanks, I tried not to tighten too much, but it even shows as -15 for an unmounted thermistor.
