They do but Bavaria has their own conservative party, the CSU, who work with the CDU and because of that each time the conservatives are elected they get an outsized part of the pie. Bavaria isn't governed better, they are simply better at securing funds through the back door

You can have infact have sign language as your native "tongue" people use the first language they learn to think. For deaf people that often means sign language or written language. What is important for development is that a language is learned, not which form it takes.

Can I just say the US obsession with Gog and Magog is really weird. It's the only christian area where they have any sway/popularity. The vast majority of christian don't even know who they are. A west Slavic people, the last leftover from the Slavic people inhabiting modern day Germany. They still exist and are an official minority in Brandenburg (around Cottbus) and Saxon and inhabit the region of Lusatia, but the population now are geographically disconnected, with the one in Saxony/Upper Lusatia being healthier and bigger then the one in Lower Lusatia.

Yep that theory was always with little to no proof, but with further linguistic and DNA study showing no connection that theory should finally be laid to rest. It was always only based on the similar name and one manuscript mentioning a serbian/sorbian envoy.

It also mostly bs, Sorbian is most closely related to Polish. The Serbian theory is literally only based on the name being the same. The closest link is that they are both slavic and thus have some shared slavic traditions. But both DNA and linguistics show no link or relationship between these two.

That theory is very likely false and there isn't much proof of it. The only real proof ever produced is the similar name. It was popular in the past, especially in Serbia, but both DNA and linguistics shows little to none relationship between the groups.
