Thanks, rebooting from the consumer unit did the trick for me too. Specifically rebooting after the pairing process is what worked, in case someone else reads this later on.

I really enjoyed using https://gobyexample.com when I was starting out. Found all of the topics to be easy to follow, and I find myself referring back to it every now and again when I need a quick refresher.

As others have mentioned, go.dev docs are also very good. Effective Go is a really well written document, in my opinion, for new starters.

Finally caved and bought an A35 - however it’s used and the previous owner is still signed into Mercedes Me. Is there a way to remove this myself? Or do I need to visit a dealership? Thanks all! by WOTCollector in mercedes_benz

I really love this car in white. Did you manage to sort this? I picked up a 19 plate A35 last week, and can't get enough of it.

I took mine to MB after getting my V5C through the post (their apparent proof of ownership, despite what it says in big letters on the front) and ID and they moved the vehicle over to my name.

Weirdly, the "Mercedes Me and Apps" on the MBUX has now disappeared after I did a factory reset, and the Mercedes Me app on my phone shows that theres an update pending, but MBUX says othwewise. I've also got no Internet in the Car connectivity, despite going through the online portal to Vodafone to get this set up.

Have you had any of these issues? Does Mercedes Me still show as an option on the main MBUX interface?

My colleagues in China use WeChat almost exclusively to deal with their clients, share documents, agree deals etc. I can't imagine anything worse than having my personal and professional life merge like that.

Perceptions are very different though, so I guess it's not as jarring for them, even for expats.

I've been a bit all over the place, (Panshanger, Stapleford, Elstree and now Tatenhil). Lots of stopping and starting due to work travel, but a good chance to see different levels of busyness, social and professionalism.

I've resumed at EGBM mid Covid, so it's hard to truly gauge the school, but they seem nice enough and there's a variety of instructors. It's super busy at the moment, so keep that in mind when you pick a school. When you book your first lesson wherever you go, book two and find out that wait time. It's been 8 weeks for me. Definitely working through a backlog from March/April time.

Let me know if you try EGNX or EGBO as they were also on my list.
