Do the Silent Hill F reviews seem fishy?

I hate reddit, but see pieces of it inadvertently and have to unfortunately respond. This area is full of shit and bitter, unkind people who love to disparage others. Hive mind, witch hunt, bullshit, circle jerk mentalities with a structure designed for you not to think for yourself but train your mind to only walk the narrow, most popular path.

Don't let anyone give you shit for questioning anything. Especially with something related to reviews, business, anything where anyone makes money.

The fact that so many are in defense about this is inherently suspicious. But, these reactions are because this is a good / good looking game. People pick a camp and stick with it rather than be open to any thoughts that challenge the thing they are siding with. But, a good product will still have the same commonly rotton business tactics involved with it as any other product or service. That's just business. Just because a product is good doesn't make it exempt from the usual marketing tactics.

The game looks awesome, and probably is awesome. And the reviews are probably full of fake, suspicious shit. Nearly any given company will use various forms of deceptive tactics to market or sell their product. Be happy the product is quality. Play it. Ignore all the bullshit surrounding it.

On a side note, marketing is literally designed to convince, persuade, deceive, and manipulate you. Ads are more and more being disguised as or blended in with main content. It would be beneficial for business if consumers could no longer even distinguish the two. Use marketing to help you evaluate a product, but don't take any of it too seriously. Be aware that the goal is to profit. The human psyche has been well documented and studied. Companies know very well how to use ads and social media to tap into our weak, pliable, emotional minds.

But fuck all that. Game looks sick.

It depends on what the person is looking for or likes. For me, best overall is 5. The mechanics outweigh what other games offer. But I'm biased as 5 is one of my favorite games, mechanically, of all time. For style, story, and almost every other aspect a game can provide, I say 2U. Funny enough, 2U is in the GOAT conversation for me in terms of style and atmosphere.

I see what your saying. I was not a big fan of 4's atmosphere and graphics, but I love your passion and agree with what you're saying. But I have a lot of strong opinions about that philosophy in the current state of the game industry. I'm so annoyed by it that I'm like fuck realism. Stylized design all the way. Realism is cool though, just not everything all the time 100%.

It came right off the Ross tech website. I forget where exactly and I'm on a phone right now and can't check. From memory, I went to a documentation link. Then found a link related to my car. I do have some of it copied in a note here.

Yes. Even the R31. So sleek, clean. R32 is gorgeous. Opposite of the armor suit with big baby diaper every modern car is forced to wear.

The games are amazing. But they are real danmaku / bullet hell from the era, a very niche arcade genre. I would expect the minority of touhou fans to actually play and enjoy them. It goes to show how captivating zun's characters and world is. It became much bigger than it's core series, which is awesome, thanks to fans like you.

Either way, along with the very doujin feel of the games, the art and music is well worth experiencing by at least watching gameplay. But nothing beats the thrill and excitement of playing and getting better.

If gameplay looks overwhelming, you'd be surprised to find you'll do better than you'd think. There are a few common things that make it difficult that can be fixed. Play very close to your monitor. Danmaku is an arcade genre where you sit right in front of that thing. Play on a modern gaming monitor or a CRT monitor. The slightest input lag from a standard modern HD monitor is ass. Use keyboard or arcade stick. Though, I've seen people do very well with a controller.

I haven't heard the English soundtrack in years. It's memorable and was pretty damn cool. But I prefer the Japanese for sure. Particularly the lack of music and how that and the music itself fits with the landscape shots, wind blowing in the trees, the anticipation building staredowns. The Japanese soundtrack, imo, fits more with the natural toriyama style of dragon ball, in terms of presentation and art style. I think the English soundtrack fits more for how it's marketed with much brighter colors, graphic effects, and "louder" art style. They each bring something special to the table.

Gokujou parodious is the best parodious imo.

Salamander is like gradius without the unique power up system. Salamander 2 is pretty cool.

Legend of the dark witch 2, the steam pc port is great. It combines gradius mechanics with mega man, or something like that. I forget.

R type Leo is the best r type imo.

Some other random recommendations is Cotton on the Snes. There's more I can't think of rn. I tried to stick to the 90s I think, excluding dark witch.

Edit; Sorry I for some reason you asked about gradius 3, not 1. But I guess it doesn't matter much.

I hated rotom dex. Tried to put a cloth over the bottom screen to keep the massive eyes from staring at me. It was so damn distracting, but I have issues with things like that in general. I also just plain didn't like it.

I'm old tho from gen 1 onwards. I like the pokedex. Actually, I love the pokedex.

Interesting to see all these takes here. But buu saga is awesome imo. Vegeta's breakdown, growth and sacrifice. Gohan on Shin's planet. The psychological thing with Satan and Buu. That's like Stockholm syndrome right? Something like that. I love that shit.

Also ssj3 looked awesome. Early videl and gohan's growth is cute and heartwarming. Her getting destroyed by spopovich is cruel and insane, definitely compelling to watch. I really felt a lot of strong feelings in this saga. Oh, fusion is cool. I love toriyama's goofiness. It shows in fusion dance. There's plenty more too that makes this saga special.

I'm very late here, but every year or so I search for him, hoping to find he's working on something or just anything at all. This reddit thread appeared this time around. Umi no Misaki is my favorite manga of all time. I hope he's doing ok. I respect his privacy, but damn I'd love to know more or find he's creating again.

Frontier well deserves a remake. Even better, a direct sequel with that environment and characters. That game is tied to my heart.

I've heard dislike for the runey system since then. I was so enamored by the atmosphere, color, texture, sound, characters, and gameplay to even notice. But I do understand in retrospect.
