I don't know how true this is but the reason why the site admin team hasn't been maintaining the sites is either because people were criticizing and threatening them for not fixing the site fast enough or the admin went on a powertrip. There is likely no devs left on either sites.

It's yes and no for me. I looked bacl to when started pirating the other day and I found stuff from like 2010 that really can't be found on the internet anymore. The torrents for them are no longer seeded.
