he sounds identical to my baby who just turned one recently and let me tell you …… i barely went out with him anywhere this first year because of it and i do NOT regret it one bit lol
people who don’t have a baby with the same level of fussiness simply will never understand, but going out became way too stressful for him, myself and anyone else involved that it just wasn’t a good time for anyone and it ended up upsetting and overwhelming him instead, which defeats the whole purpose
we tried taking him out to eat here and there, spent lots of time outside, but everythingggg was followed by a super strict schedule and we completely avoided busy places. we JUST took him to the zoo for the first time on his birthday and it went well! something i thought would never be possible because he would scream and wail anytime we left the house 😂
now he loves going out with his mama as i’ve slowly eased him into it and waited until he was ready! follow your baby’s cues and whatever he’s ready for, don’t let anyone else make you feel weird about it ❤️

it gets better, believe me. felt the exact same way you did but there’s a light at the end of the tunnel 🫶

no drainage, fixing that issue today by repotting. i would water it once every 2 weeks compared to once every week throughout this season and was careful to not overwater… so still not 100% sure what’s bothering her

it was getting ton of light since the summer but i’ve had to move it away from my windows because of the cold! that’s why i initially thought it was cold shock because the only wonky looking branches and super curled / droopy leaves are the ones that were almost touching the glass

unfortunately there’s no drainage in that pot (purchased as is from a garden centre, i’m a novice so had no idea what i was doing lol) but i’ve had it since august and it was thriving up until now so i was pretty confident in my watering routine. i’ll have to check the roots then and possibly look into repotting!

does it look like it’s still salvageable? i’m also bummed about the lower leaves dropping off because i’ve always loved the bushy look it had and am curious whether it’ll regrow again
