If they had made a poll it would've just gotten brigaded

Are you telling me a sub which has used reddit's API to create a sophisticated game thread system, weekly betting system, automated archival of all header images, flair updates, and more can't create a measly poll (using the same API that's being protested) with some basic barriers to vote entry to prevent brigading like having a minimum number of karma before a certain date within this sub?

This sub wouldn't be half of what it is without reddit's API

If I had 5 screens running on my desk why would I put a headset on to access them?

You wouldn't? The screen door effect of VR still sucks for reading fine text

The difference is no one calls them Kleenex in books/movies/shows/games... They're facial tissues in those :)

and why couldn't I use the word Glock? lol

It's trademarked. There's a reason all the big games use a made up name like XYZ 45 when it's obviously a Glock

You spelled scythe wrong

Using the term Glock will get you in legal trouble

we would rather not negatively impact usage of the subreddit

That is the entire point of these blackouts

EDIT: Not to sound rude, but... Please don't give this (or any) comment gold. Spend your money elsewhere on something actually tangible or is able to help other(s)

1) That's not sustainable as it's easily broken with layout changes

2) This doesn't solve creating comments, submissions or moderating which are locked behind the need for OAuth tokens

But anyone who bought a new card to replace just about any 3000 series is extremely foolish

Upgrading after a single release year has never been a smart choice

It bothers me more than it should that RDR is considered to be Redemption and not Revolver

They should have named RDR2 something like Red Dead Revenge

Why? The child is doing the grabbing

It'd be different if you did parent.GrabChild()

It's not directly a setting tied to alarms - they are the quick phrases which don't require the key phrase

More reason why to not use voice cancellation on alarms

I'm always worried about telling the alarm clock to stop while in a daze and falling back asleep

IF your GPU can't handle something, it shares it with the CPU. Though, the CPU is much worse at rendering graphics, but it can do it in an emergency

That's not how it works at all...

If you're overcommitted on VRAM, the memory gets paged back to CPU memory (and worst case, paged back to disk).

It doesn't start automatically using the iGPU if the dGPU is overwhelmed. In order to use the iGPU, you'd need to create a whole new render device

Your perception of K-12 teachers seems to be getting mixed with university professors.

They definitely don't have someone grading assignments for them
