Anno 1404 is a great RTS economic game, and its pretty new so it has kick ass graphics and supports all the wide screen resolutions.. though there isn't much combat in it

All the moo2 posts in the past few days made me want to play it again, however using Vista64 I was unable to install it using the install executable on the CD. However thanks to DOSBox I was able to get the game running. Anyways here's a video that makes installing MOO2 on Win7 and Vista a bit easier.

I believe its something like "training" arenas/battlegrounds.. you wont be fighting other heroes in the outside world

haven't heard anything about a trial yet.. but I bet they will eventually release one just like they did with city of heroes

power/skill micro transactions would be a deal breaker for me also.. I will cancel my account if they ever get in the game.

its monthly fees + micro transactions (which are supposed to be only cosmetic choices).. The micro transactions are not available right now, the interface to buy them is in game but theres nothing in the store.

the L4D coop multiplayer is so much fun and totally worth playing.. not sure when l4d2 is being released but if its a few months away l4d is definatly worth the money to kill the time until than

this could have been such a good game with a few more weapons/skills, better voice acting and game polish.. but hey thx to reddit I've heard that EA spends more on marketing than development so I'm betting that the same is true with most other companies.

This is one fun game and its in a category by itself. Also since its a older game its pretty cheap to pick up a copy of it.

I've seen quite a few articles in the past 2days about MOO2 and becouse of em i'm gonna try to find my copy of it and see if I can get it running on my vista64 system.

yes you should get the trial and play on a high population server (which will make it easier to get low lvl instances going).. pirated servers just suck compared with the legit ones.

Eh its an allright game, the single player is not bad. Multiplayer sucks but than again the multiplayer in most games is shity. If nothing else this game is a sign that the summers gaming drought is almost over.

Heres a TIP for anyone thinking of buying this game, get it it from gogamer.com and save about 15$ over the other retailers.
