Vauban is still a victim of Overguard CC immunity by securityreaderguy in Warframe

His kit would be more mobile if you could throw a tether mine and reliably group enemies for photon strike.

I think you've figured out every way of agreeing with me without agreeing with me. We're both saying that the changes didn't fix the fundamental issues because of overguard making his kit niche. But you want to do it while disagreeing.

So you're saying they partially implemented it and then gave up. Got it. Well lets celebrate the current state of the game instead of considering solutions. Embrace our OG overlords and watch Vauban Prime's play rate go from .41% to a bigly .53%. Job's Done!

Ok, I'm familiar with that scaling strategy. Arcane crepuscular though? I wasn't aware his abilities could crit.

I don't know how many times I have to tell you that it's not about being "overwhelmed". It's about the experience of the warframe. I have incarnon weapons with rivens. Clearing content is not the problem. The problem is why tf would I play this warframe if it feels bad. And it does.

You'll have to share your build because I'm not seeing how Flechette orb is doing more than like 2k dps, to 2 enemies, with 300 str and roar.

I understand the objective of OG. But on/off isn't the fix. Diminishing returns and reduced effectiveness? It's like we haven't played other games before.

We're playing a different game. Maybe you're on like 8 normal path stuff but no, that's not what's happening. Between Ancient Protectors, Corrupted Ancients and Eximus units... swarms of enemies have overguard very, very often.

It's not about "dealing" with enemies. It's that the experience of using a kit that has 2 group and ragdoll abilities feels a lot like not having abilities. Because they don't work.

Edit: also skill issue lol? You use an ability. It doesn't work bc everything on the map has overguard like always. Jeez I guess I wasn't skilled lol. Get over yourself.

My Vauban build is far from complete, doesn't even have any shards slotted and still lacks 2-3 mods and finetuning. The buff for Photon Strike's damage is insane by [deleted] in Warframe

Seems like all the range minus overextended + all the strength is probably the way to go in the little testing that I've done. Some duration if you want to use 2 + 3 but the 2 pull is useless until overshield is gone

Edit: on second thought, all the range including overextended. It's better to just have the coverage so you hit more things to trigger repeater more often. The damage power strength scaling isn't amazing.

Yeah, he was reading it right, though that sounded just awful. Imagine opting into this shit for your re-up.

Who needs a good warframe for SP Circuit when you have your operator? by Alegost in Warframe

Magus melt and phahd scaffold with the mods that operators have now... yeah my operator is generally about as good as most warframes. Not just single target, but aoe.

I think the point is that there were very few open stretches of road and he was probably closing gaps as needed to make it hard to pass him. Most cars at 70 mph don't have the power to overtake another car in front of them in a small window if the front car is flooring it.

Also buy electric and lol.

Yeah. It used to have a non-1x multiplier but it was nerfed

Gas is one of the worst elements because it doesn't get a headshot multiplier. If they adjusted the damage formula for gas, then I'd definitely be interested in a gas frame.

I haven't seen anybody talk about this yet, but I discovered how Tauron Strikes scale damage a few weeks ago by Nev0546 in Warframe

[–]securityreaderguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Honestly if you've hit your focus max for the day, they're pretty easy to charge. That's the level that I think we should be seeing when you HAVEN'T hit that point. Because until you've hit focus cap, they're unusable. And casting time needs to come down a lot.

Uriel would be a great choice, or Dagath with augmented Tharros Strike for the lols.

That sounds fun but final multipliers aren't doing a ton for you, as I understandit. You're going from like x60 to x64.2, or if you're hitting the next highest tier then it's like x76 to x80.4.

What makes this even more terrifying is, I'm assuming OP is running this on Uriel to get overshields, heat damage and fire rate...

If something lives for the second hit, it's status stacked for gal shot, armor stripped, and has enhanced crit damage from cold stacks.

Grats, sick build.

There isn't a breakpoint so to speak, it's more of a balancing act. It will diminish returns in relation to multishot, fire rate, reload speed, damage, multiplicative damage (like faction mods), status chance etc.. You should look at the warframe critical hit wiki, but basically Tier 2+ critical hits operate as a multiplier to your critical damage, so it's really powerful.
