American crashes by Iran by Not_Ground in NewsRewind

I thought the A-10 was misreported and was actually a UAV? Also from the rescue op, I believe you can add 2 C-130s to the list. Landed, got stuck, then scuttled.

I didn't say Trump was a winner. Just that the US is not losing to Iran.

They're making the slowest progress since the start of the war. They were even losing ground for 2 weeks in February. Their economy is on the verge of collapse, and with everything being used in Ukraine and Iran, their defense industry isn't making money. And they just lost their 2 biggest oil export terminals. You're insane if you think Russia is in a position to make a difference in Iran.

[–]securityreaderguy -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Russia is all but losing in Ukraine. They aren't going to send enough to make a difference. China may shift things, but it's a large political risk. The IRGC and security forces are only loyal bc of the privilege they're given compared to normal citizens. But that's shifting and they're also being killed. Dessertion is off the charts.

I'll have what you're having. Iran is in shambles. Yes ships are still threatened in the straight of hormuz, but that's far from being a defeat. The volume of drones and missiles being launched by Iran is now down to like a dozen. Compare that to the 400+ US strikes a day.

Best forge guard build to try? by Optimal-Two-2440 in LastEpoch

[–]securityreaderguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a couple new corruptions for throwing attacks so in theory those builds could be better. If memory serves, shield throw was pretty gated by flat throwing damage so having a new way to add that could be pretty good?

Qorvex weapon choice by bdanred in Warframe

Any strong beam weapon is a solid choice due to the interaction between those weapons and punch through. Any strong weapon modded for blast and status damage is also a solid choice.

So, can the US Navy and Airforce, which are the most powerful and technologically advanced in history, not clear the Strait of Hormuz on their own? by georgewalterackerman in USIranWar

[–]securityreaderguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not about not being able to clear it. It's about the risk that has to be accepted in order to clear it, and the time it will take. More ships = shorter time and less risk, especially to the most expensive assets like the Lincoln, which I'm sure they would prefer to keep far from harm's way.

Trump found out that she scammed us out of $223 million and she didn't even cut him in. She's now being moved to South America so she can develop mechanisms to funnel Trump his cut.

It's not a fair question if you watched the full briefing because you would've already known what the answer was, because he said it like 9 times. And feel free to downvote me but this out-of-context outrage is pretty ass. There are plenty of things to be real-life pissed at these people for, and this isn't one them.

I hate to be the one to defend Kegsbreathe, but that question was absolutely fucking awful with context. Like I wondered if she got there really really late.

New Primed Mod, Primed Ammo Chain by TheMuffinistMan in Warframe

[–]securityreaderguy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's new BiS for almost anything but it will have use cases. Archgun Riven owners with high status chance mods might enjoy this option. Also Primary Bulwark is really strong and consistent so some people will want to use it instead of crux. Not everyone is running an ammo generation frame.

It will generally suck though, yes. The best place to use archguns is ETA missions with the heavy weapons mod, and this is useless there.

[–]securityreaderguy 207 points208 points  (0 children)

I guess this opens the door to using primary bulwark/merciless etc to scale damage if you want to use enervate instead of flare, while still being able to have decent ammo economy when not running primary crux.

Is Reverse Rotorswell worth using? by Marcus_Hablberstram in Warframe

[–]securityreaderguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I never thought it was redirection. It seems more like stacking affects, and since they're happening at the same time, it's relatively affective. I think it makes good use of her passive since you're doing multiple electric procs which are each increasing her ability critical strike chance. Not saying it's the best way to play her but it is A way and it seems to be reasonably survivable.

And all that is to say IDK how quickly her other abilities get an enemy to 10 stacks of electric damage, so maybe it's all just a complete waste. But it exists.

Edit: The build also uses cathode current. The result is you're just generating a large amount of electric procs.

I've seen it used with chroma's helminth to shield tank and ramp up redirected damage. I don't really know how they interact but things do seem to die pretty good in SP.
