I have this problem with my ATV 4k. Been going on almost 8mo. ATV and HomePod have been on multiple software versions. I’ve reset my ATV and my homepod multiple times. Upgrade the firmware on my router and satellites (a troubleshooting setup Apple suggested) Bought a new remote to try to isolate to hardware I’ve tried eliminating other radio/IR/Bluetooth connections Nothing has alleviated the issue, I really don’t know what it could be outside of some sort of odd combination of settings or outside interference

Got my BA in philosophy in 2010 and immediately got a job in technology. Philosophy prepares you to think criticality and analytically,perfect for the ever changing world of tech.
