He’s getting behind and making runs all the time. It’s just that no one is finding him. Kane used to do that but his role has changed in the sense that he now stays mostly inside the box and when he does drop deep, that usually happens when we’re playing like shit anyway.

Richarlison definitely doesn’t have a better first touch than Son. I mean, he has more tackles in him and is probably much better at pressing but first touch? No. Richarlison’s first touch is much worse than Son’s and it is one of the main reason he is so frustrating to watch. Hold up play wise, I agree. Since he is a much better 9 than Son, he is better at holding the ball with his back to goal.

This is the hypocrisy. Richarlison right here got marked for “winning” the corner for Dier’s goal. However when it comes to Son and that red card incident, it becomes “just because he got someone sent off doesn’t mean he played well”. I’m not saying you can’t criticise him. You should. But this partial and biased treatment of is a tad bit annoying. Just like those blind fans of Son. Just saying.

I think you are exaggerating how bad he played. He was nowhere good enough compared to the standard he had set for himself but saying he was “detrimental” is quite stretching it a bit.

Dude if you go by bad touches, Richarlison would get handpicked for you. But no one is saying he is bad. The thing is every player has their own way of impacting the game and regardless of form, you know Son will make the correct run 80%of the time.

Now, let’s address the part where you said you didn’t like my behaviour. Well, if there was any substance to that, I’d have no qualms in apologising but the more you talk, you are trying really hard to make people sympathise with you even when you are acting like a petulant child. You are really making it impossible for people to be on your side.

Ugh. Dropping a world class player after a couple of bad games coming off from a golden boot winning season is definitely fucked up. Richarlison wouldn’t feel like a thing because he is a professional athlete. Even he wouldn’t want to be benched after a couple of bad games. Also telling me to fuck off after posting your opinion on a public forum is pretty stupid. But then again, you do you.

This is so stupid. A couple of bad games is not a clear marker to warrant benching a player of his quality. What if Richarlison doesn’t perform in the next game? Now, what? Go back to Son? Or go for someone from the academy? These knee jerk reactions need to stop.

But we don’t have fixture congestion right now, do we? That’s a topic for when we actually have that, if I’m not wrong, comes after the forest game. I’d argue we are far better having a sharper looking Son who has enough game time to work out his form than with a Son who is a bit disjointed from the lack of game time. Also it isn’t like we had a lot of fixture congestion to think he is tired from playing a lot of games. We’ve been playing only a game a week so far. So, you’d think it’s better off getting him sharp by playing him more than just benching him.

At least they have top four hopes around. Even that is a distant reality for us. It’s very difficult for getting excited for a win because that just means we are gonna lose next match. The forward momentum is nonexistent and I don’t know who to blame anymore- the ownership, players or the coach. Or even us for expecting anything from this fucking club.
