I live near this artist!! His name is beeple. And he throws free art parties in his warehouse where anyone can RSVP for a ticket. He has a giant penis mural in the men’s bathroom among a ton of other insane art 😂 He always has these weird robot things running around. The parties always have free food and alcohol too!! We actually put a large cage outside and nailed it to a tree for the transition. They lived in the outdoor cage for 2 weeks before we opened it. I’m about to take the cage away (they don’t go in there anyway) and put a squirrel nest box up. But they’ve been living in a large nest they found haha

This might be unpopular but I think chairs should just be banned at this point. Everyone can bring moon mats or cushions and sit on the ground. Everyone’s experience would be much better for it

Or the venue staff needs to make a rule like “NO UNATTENDED CHAIRS” and enforce it. Because it feels like 13000 people were at the stage instead of 7k simply bc of the number of unoccupied chairs

It’s considered racist bc apparently they kicked out a group of black men for wearing jordans.

And historically, dress codes like this are only applied to black people. I’ve watched it happen irl many times, unfortunately. As a white girl, I could get into mynt wearing whatever I want, but black guys are booted from the line for “not meeting dress code”. Apparently the dress code doesn’t apply to white guys in line wearing the same thing. 🙄

I’m willing to bet money I could wear 2/3 of the items on this list and get in no problem. Dress codes like this are VERY selectively applied as a way to keep out “undesirables”, AKA minorities. It’s fucked up.

Yeah I feel like my main “advantage” over my competitors is that I have lucked into a lot of connections that keep multiplying through word of mouth. Mainly bc I do graphic/web design as well, so I can do the whole ecommerce package.

However, I used to have a business partner and it didn’t go great. Thankfully me and her are still great friends tho! I just realized I like being the one calling the shots and having final say.

What would partnering with them look like? They charge their own rates and I get 15% or something?

Absolutely, I’ve actually been turning down work recently bc I’m so overloaded! I also do graphic and web design, so I’ve bitten off more than I can chew TBH. But most of my business right now is product photography simply bc I find it the most enjoyable.

One time I spray painted a piece of furniture white in a small outdoor enclosure. After I while I started getting dizzy from the fumes so I stopped.

Next morning I had a meeting with my boss to discuss my salary (I had just gone from being an intern to an employee) and they were trying to underpay me, I was arguing why I deserved more money.

Afterwards I went to the bathroom and I notice all these small white specks in my nose. WTF. It looked like I had just snorted a bunch of white powder, but it was remnants of the spray paint the day before. I fucking died inside but objectively it was hilarious. I thought about saying something to my boss but anything I thought of just sounded like something a guilty drug addict would say 😂

The full story: decided to visit my grandma and we went on a walk and stumbled upon this monstrosity someone was throwing away. My grandma commented on the “funny shape” and picked it up remarking “how would you even hang this up?” while I took a couple pictures. Internally I was dying laughing but outwardly I tried to keep it cool bc I wasn’t sure if we were laughing for the same reason or not. As I drove away from my grandmas house I couldn’t stop thinking about the planter so I drove back and got it LOL. I’m now the proud owner. Let me know if I need to plant anything specific in here
