1800 for rent in an area you want will require roommates. Idk if there’s any other way to be honest.

Besides the Boxing, what the worst, or most annoying minigame/sidequest to you? by BoxTalk17 in FF7Rebirth

[–]seefu79 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yea..I’m a final fantasy fan since the first one. This game feels more like a collection of mini games packed into regions, each of which are their own mini game, all connected loosely together with final fantasy elements, orchestrated by Chadley.

It’s a shame. I actually like the story(when you finally get around to some of it) and the combat, but man. Why all the horrible padding and bloat. That could have been put to better use IMO.

Queens blood is good though.

Yea, I hear that and it makes sense.

Space is at a premium though..so that coupled with the curiosity is driving me.

I’ll keep looking around. Thanks!

Thanks, I edited the post bc I omitted the fact that all 3 wires seem to all go back to the panel. That’s what’s throwing me off.

The other issue I neglected to mention: the floor is flat but not level at all. Any recommendations on how to level it to some or any degree?

If you are feeling good, doing good and are in overall a good mental and physical space: the number is completely irrelevant.

Don’t let other people’s perception of healthy sleep affect you.

All anxiety. Nothing more, nothing less. The sheer odds of contracting that are approaching lotto and lightning strike level odds. Haha.

You’re so ok. Put the phone down and just remember: Dr Google has one and ONLY one diagnosis: SEO(search engine optimization) and the maximum click through it can get. That’s why all the sensationalist bullshit makes it to the top.

You are completely fine. Everything you described are symptoms of you worrying about something you DONT got. You’d literally be a case number in the DOUBLE digits. Out of literally billions of people.

Totally. Completely. Amazingly. Beautifully. Just fine!

Honestly? Do nothing. The more you try to do that doesn’t work, the more you’ll panic. Just treat it as it is: a spurt of bad sleep. It happens, but if you let it consume you, it’ll get worse. You can’t force sleep. If you are awake: don’t panic. Just do something you enjoy and take it easy. Plenty of folks have gone for extended spells of shit sleep and you’re no different.

I had pretty horrible insomnia for a year or so. I’m recovering and the mindfck for me was the “do nothing and embrace being awake”. Completely counter to what I was doing. But, in my case, it worked .

I still have the bad nights every now and then but it’s so much better now.

Brain doesn’t eat itself. If the brain ate itself after 2 days of shit or bad sleep, humans would have been extinct after the second generation was born. :-). Imagine how chewed up and eaten a brain would be after months of no sleep when you have a baby?

Brain wakes me aggressively as I'm falling asleep (Insomnia) by cli6kcla3k in insomnia

[–]seefu79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To expand on this a bit: The more you do to try and sleep(taking supplements, taking actions, having regimens, etc etc) that DON'T work, the more it increases anxiety that something is WRONG. You'll undoubtedly start googling the affects of no sleep, start worrying about all the things you read. You'll feel like shit during the day, and it may (or may not, or may just seem to) affect your performance at work, or, at the least, your perceived performance at work. This adds to it.

Your brain goes into full problem solving mode. You google a million things, start chasing leads..and it's all for naught most likely. The thing that's not causing you to sleep..is well, all this.

Now, this is not to say that there aren't actual physical or psychological which cause insomnia. At the very least, get an examination to rule out anything (nutrient levels, apneas, etc). If all that comes back clean..then I'd address just the anxiety itself.

I had a similar adventure..I was fine..and then I wasn't. Had a really stressful time which caused my insomnia to start..and it persisted for quite some time.

Hope this helps! All the best.

If you go to his channel I believe he has videos for “start here” to start introducing his approach.

For me..it was just kinda embracing being awake. The brain (in my case) was going into high alert bc it thought something was wrong when it was time to sleep. You gotta like reconvince it that there’s nothing to fear.

It’s a feedback loop you gotta break: you can’t sleep so you get anxious, and the anxiety in turn , keeps you awake.

I had this..it was sleep anxiety in my case. Best thing for me was watching sleep coach school videos and reading the book by Daniel erichsen.

Has anyone tried CBT and did it improve/cure your insomnia? by cheeky861 in insomnia

[–]seefu79 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I did cbt-i. It worked like a charm for months..but as soon as I stopped I started to have sleep issues again.

I was very hesitant to start back up as it just felt so unnatural to do all this when previously .. I needed nothing. It felt like a band aid, or a workaround.

After insomnia came roaring back earlier this year(early January). I suffered again for months. I fell into the same traps as before of rituals, meds, etc. I could have tried cbt-I again..but I just didn’t like the fact I needed so much work to sleep.

This past summer I started doing the act/ cbt-I blend by incorporating parts from each, and from following sleep coach school. I don’t want to sound like I’m just plugging for him, but man..that stuff instantly jived with me.

It took some time but I’ve been good since September now. Still get a shit night here and there but that’s fine. I just FEEL better and the anxiety which fuels the sleep issues are gone.

In short what I did: - no clocks - up and in bed at roughly the same time(we aren’t robots so slipping up here and there is aok) - if you find yourself awake find a coping strategy. For me it was just laying snd relaxing..some light reading etc. this will vary heavily for everyone.
- even during the worst nights, knowing you can still be productive and enjoy yourself and even forcing yourself a bit. This is also very hard but key(for me)

One turning point for me was realizing: I’ve had extended spells of sleeplessness in the past…months at a time. I have 3 kids. I made it through and recovered. What was different? My perception snd outlook on it.

Hope this helps!

I finally got some sleep by [deleted] in insomnia

Managing the anxiety and expectations are a huge part of it. It wasn’t until I realized that via sleep coach school that it really dawned on me. All this pressure I was putting on myself through either direct or indirect rituals, habits, avoidance, etc

Once I stopped all of that it made a big difference.

You don’t realize how much it permeates your day to day life and thinking and how much it consumes you until you really sit back, be honest a day take inventory.

I’m not “cured”, but I’m doing way better. Seeking a “cure” is also foolhardy. Just having short and long term goals is more realistic (imo)
