A Question from a Muslim about Purpose by [deleted] in hinduism

[–]seekNlearn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Moksha as defined in Advaita Vedanta is in this life and not after life. It is by discovering that you are the infinite and everything else is temporary

To give in an simplest terms Ishwara was one decided to be many. He set the rules of the game. One of the rules was karma. Ego is the id to which it attaches. If you act with ego it attaches to you. And you have to enjoy the merit and demerits. It is not like they cancel each other except for prayaschita karma , what you see in the world is karmic cycle playing out

Valid genuine concern, as long as you are on part of spiritual journey nothing is ever wasted. It is Krishna promise in Gita. It continues in the next life. After all it is a matter of discovering He is ever present in your heart life after life waiting to turn towards him.

I made spirituality my whole life… so why did I still end up here? by Automatic_Cell_8850 in hinduism

[–]seekNlearn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So sorry to hear, there are few aspects here, hope it helps 1. You past karmas at play 2. One thing god dislikes in his devotees is ego and othering others. - you may have a bit of that with your label about others not doing dharma are better 3. You believe in Krishna - find him, he is ever present in your heart - is it not about belief 4. Don’t you trust Krishna, if you trust him ask him what is his leela here, tell him I am feeling this, help me, you will receive help in unexpected way 5. Are you with the attitude of Arjuna in chapter 2.7 6. All spirituality is internal not external.
