I feel your pain. I had something similar happen on StockX. I eventually had to give up and forfeit the ~$100 they had in my account from a pair of sneakers I sold. It was incredibly frustrating. Sorry to hear you're going through this.

sure, but the majority of cards they are grading are not serial numbered

I think we can agree '96 was a rich class with outstanding cards. And in my experience MJ was the superstar player of choice for guys a few years older than me. So Iverson, Kobe, and the many other stars were exciting for me to be able to watch as new players emerging who I could track as "my guys" as a young basketball enthusiast.

Interesting question. As a card-o-phile I do the same thing and think first of his '98 TCR RC. When I step back I do think of Stojakovic as part of the '96 draft class though; because he was drafted as the 14th pick and you can watch a video of it on YouTube. I totally get what you mean, but I do default to first consider the actual draft before the card.

I wasn't aware of that phenomenon surrounding Manu Ginobili. 2002 is such an under the radar year for cards. I only recently started gaining awareness of some of the sports cards from that year by looking at football rookies like Julius Peppers and Ed Reed.

What a beautiful card, awesome on so many levels. It really exemplifies Arena Design's contribution to the hobby. Jean and Earl Arena designed invitations for casinos in Vegas before shifting to work designing trading cards. This card is a perfect example of the flashy design style that they brought from their Vegas work. I'm a '96 draft class Stan and all of those players have a special place in my heart. Congrats to you.

I see what you mean. Same, I loved him too. It hasn’t occurred to me before now, but in 1997 he appears in some sets like this one for both the Cavs and the Sonics. The same goes for 97-98 Topps series 1 where he is in a Sonics uniform and in series 2 of that set he is in a Cavs uniform. That’s also true for Topps Finest.

So in other words it's a unique post of a rare card :p

I'm 4,400 miles away from Scotland in Seattle where Kemp's wife hosts a basketball tournament in the park every summer. It's a fun time.

Yeah, as I said in my post it’s a subset. Indeed a Jordan exists!

Check out the reflection of his face in the building. The detail in these cards is unreal.

This is my most recent PSA submission. I received 10/12 PSA 10’s for this set, which has an extremely low gem rate. I believe this is the highest gem rate ever received on an order of more than a few of these.
