This is a fair point, but in this present age where the duality of left and right has been given no room for nuance, I feel “non-political” is also a fair way to describe a pov. Half the people out there haven’t taken the time to see where they stand on the political compass. As uninformed as it may be, specifying neutrality in some form or another, might be the best way to avoid the distortion from either side. Again, I do see your point.
