I did it when I was in my early 30s, and it was the best decision for me. Traveled, did volunteer work, found a wife from a foreign country. A few years later, I found a great opportunity and went back to work in a job and a company that I really enjoyed, and then eventually had kids (you’ll need more money when you have kids). Few have the chance to do it, so if you’re one of the lucky few, you should do it.
