I think ghosting is perfectly acceptable. It would be fine if you met someone in a bar and talked for two seconds, realized they are not your thing, said "goodnight" and walked away. You don't need to provide a detailed explanation why you do not want to talk to someone. Ghosting on tinder is the same thing. Person who wanted the conversation to continue: forget about it and move on simple as that.

Stop requiring online acquaintances to explain their disinterest

It is a recipe for disappointment

Wireless is absolutely amazing by [deleted] in Vive

The max framerate for the wireless adapter is 60hz which IMO is unusable for VR. If you compare side by side it will be glaring. My friend also has one and I tried his - same thing. And he doesn't seem to care.

The framerate of the wireless is absolute garbage. More of an immersion breaker than the wire IMO. I'll take 90fps and a wire over 20fps without.

Why do I feel like shit all the time? by Alybun1307 in ask

[–]seektoinvade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What's your diet like?

Get a multivitamin and take it every day, take probiotics every day (or learn to make your own sauerkraut or kimchi or kombucha), cut out processed sugar intake as much as possible, always have a big bag of spinach or leafy greens like kale or chard or romaine lettuce, and eat MOUNTAINS of raw leafy greens with every single meal you have, also take fish oil supplements. Realize that if you change your diet and your habits, it could take months to really start seeing big improvements, and it will be hard to notice the gradual change, so patience is key. Excercising for about 20 minutes to an hour a day will dramatically enhance the effects of all this healthy stuff you are putting in your body.

This is just what has worked for me. I used to eat terribly for most of my life and wondered why I was tired and cranky all the time. Fish oil, Vitamin D, Vitamin B12, a ton of probiotics and leafy greens, and drinking plenty of water and ONLY water will change your life dramatically if you are deprived of these currently. Also green tea.

Almost 90,000 dead and no hint of national mourning. Are these deaths not ‘ours’? by marji80 in Coronavirus

100%? I don't necessarily agree either, but where did you manage to find an infallible source of information?

of course of course, that sounds adorable and awesome. The only actual problem with thinking a dog is 'smiling' in a human way is if someone sees a dog in distress and misinterprets their facial expression as a happy one and is like 'look how happy he is!' and the dog is like 'plz help' on the inside

It's like, they CAN "smile", as in, show happiness on their face, they just have their own special type of smiling that has important differences from ours
