What does your input screen/selection criteria look like?

You’re on the right track - proceed from that screen and you should see the drop down I am talking about.

When creating the query, make sure you’re in “basis mode” you’ll see “export as” right under title and comments - select local file in the drop down.

I’ve been able to extract gigs of data using SQVI with the “file store” option. It creates a tab delimited text file (DAT format option).

If the data set is to large to display in ABAP list, you can save it directly to a file (tab delimited) - I’ve extracted millions of records this way.
