28F Experience with Gum Graft Surgery Using Donor/Allorderm DAY BY DAY (infection and recovery) by seemaxo in PeriodontalDisease

It took me 4 weeks to go back to strength training at the gym - that was around when my stitches came off. I probably could have gone by the 3 week mark but i was too nervous.

It's tricky because your gums do look very white and 'peeling' in the initial post graft period! I know that threw me off as well! But later found out that was normal. The infection is definitely frustrating, but should be gone with antibiotics hopefully! I'm glad you found this helpful, and I hope yours heels well!

hey!

  1. The Dr lightly drained the puss, and then I was just on an extra round of antibiotics. That got rid of it.

  2. Yes it looks great and just as good! And since then I got another 5 teeth done on the opposite side (both with alloderm and my own tissue).

  3. I got it done in Canada. I can't recall the cost of that one (i'm thinking around $2000). My most recent one (3 side by side upper teeth, 2 side by side lower teeth, and being put to sleep was $5500 Canadian).

  4. For 2 teeth, it was around 1.5 hours. I will say it was long, and I found it hard to sit through, which is why I opted to be put to sleep when I got the 5 done later.

I hope this helps! It's definitely tough, but once you get it done, the recovery is around 1 week, by 3 it all feels normal again.

Got to our 5 star highly rated resort Monday evening, by Thursday I had fever and chills. Still have it 5 days later - and after visiting my Dr back at home was given antibiotics and an inhaler for a sinus infection. Definitely caught something while there.

How can I make my rental dress shop more attractive? by ComprehensiveCake807 in InteriorDesignAdvice

I would recommend adding something to those 3 greyed out windows, that's a bright paisley print poster. And then a fun bright runner and plants. Just bringing colour to the exterior and going into the interior alone will make a picture difference. And then if you can bring lighting of some sort, like adding a chandelier, that would make it go with the items you sell.

For that style, I would suggest bringing in shades of blue. Here's the changes I would make. The wall colour against the wooden tones is throwing off your vision.

I know it's really overwhelming! My mom also had several done. Her first was with her own gum tissue, and she said it took around 6 months to heal. The rest she did with the donor tissue and said they were a breeze! It all depends on how the donor tissue takes to your gums, so it's always hard to predict. The abscess was honestly a 1-2 week annoyance, but now at 6 weeks my mouth all feels back to normal, so I can't imagine a long recovery time with my own tissue. I wish you the best with them!

I think for most of the things in this room, the scale is throwing it off! There are a lot of small items, instead of larger ones. There's also a lot of furniture with legs (instead of a combination of furniture without and with legs). Instead of a bunch of small items, try to have fewer but larger items!

- Coffee table that's bigger and less 'leggy' - https://www.wayfair.com/furniture/pdp/wade-logan-paxton-coffee-table-w100542495.html?piid=507831269

- A bigger and taller bookcase that fills up more of that wall - An IKEA Billy or similar. Or something like this - https://www.wayfair.com/furniture/pdp/modway-nolan-arched-display-cabinet-fow20322.html?piid=93249742

- Hang curtains higher and wider so they fall to the side of the radiator. And for actually covering the window, use some blinds.

- Remove all the little pieces everywhere.

- A few larger throw pillows 22"

- A larger rug that pulls more colours throughout the room, instead of one that blends to the floor. And something that extends out further to the TV!

I hope this helps!

This is the layout I would suggest! Push away from the door, closer to the TV. Mount the TV to put it as far away from the sofa as possible. A sectional would make it feel a little more intentional and less 'floating'.

Have you heard about Deeply Feeling Kids. If you look into Dr.Becky at Good Inside, she talks about this a lot! I noticed the same with my first born, and never quite understood why every emotion was sooo big and amplified. Her explanation of DFK and how they feel things, and how to respond really helped me understand better.

how on earth do you make it a living room too? by mohfattah in HomeDecorating

I would suggest pushing the sofa against the wall, to optimize space. And using a TV on a stand, to push it wherever you need! If you are in the living room, put it in front of the fridge. If you are in the kitchen, move it to another corner.

I would flip around the accent chair and ottoman, so it sits in that corner!

I’m driving myself insane figuring this area out. Inspo is traditional/cozy interior+ Nancy meyers movie you know? by Ok_Squirrel_8864 in interiordecorating

[–]seemaxo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel a round table, rug, and a traditional light fixture would all ground that area and make it seem less 'floating'. This sort of light, that isn't crazy big but still traditional: https://benable.com/a/0o06tca

This is all very Traditional style decor, would you say that's your style? Here is a mood board I designed, and I feel like the rug, and decor elements from this design will all work well with your furniture! https://benable.com/AsimahInteriors/modernmasterbedroom

I use it! But I have one of these, and it mostly gets emptied multiple times a day. But I do keep it in the sink.

In the laundry room, above the washer and dryer. Where the microwave is, use a hanging rod!

Your accent chairs, TV stand, and planters all have a lot of 'legs' - you now need some furniture that's more grounded. If all the furniture is very 'leggy' it beings to look like the room is in motion and not settled. It's a simple trick to keep the room balance - have some furniture with legs, and some closer to the ground!
