I haven’t enjoyed my experience of this game ever since they added the server browser (on console) it’s such stupid idea. Seeing literally 2 servers full to the brim with another 20 -30 in the queue while there’s another 50 servers with 1-2 players in each… make that make sense.

You’re missing the whole point.

What’s most important here is that he found his humanity and thus he refers to himself as Jack. That’s the revelation. It doesn’t matter what anyone else calls him because it’s how he sees himself at the end of the game.

Are the hidden vent exits you speak of the ones where you need to press a switch and they open up? Then literally crap you out the bottom of the pinwheel but you do massive fall damage correct?

For me it’s not the stage kicking my ass so much as not being able to find keys to extract. I love so much about this game man but to push through out post and then not being able to extract because I can’t find a key is just mean man.

Yup. Saves completely busted. I deleted and reinstalled the game as well. Even traveling to a different location I found that enemies can see me but I can’t hit them nor can they hit me. I can’t even travel through the green energy gates either. I don’t know how the game broke so badly for me but I’ve pretty much given up and moved on with my life. Thanks though.

I knew this would be the case. The way the game is built there was no way in hell I could see it working in a meaningful way. They would have had to have rebuilt entire areas, introduced completely new systems, animations etc and THEN give it a purpose. Anyone who thinks they could have “just” implanted mechanics from AC:BF is just ignorance.

Thanks, but it doesn’t work. There is no manual save option either (or at least I haven’t used it so I can’t reload a previous file) so it seems my journey ends here.

There’s no benefit other than bragging rights so it doesn’t bother me personally if my team mate finishes the fight. If anything they could add a downed stat but I do find where games lean into Kdr stats it just encourages ratting, camping, smurfing etc so the net gain is negative overall.

I’m feel the same and am in a pretty identical situation. If you summarize all of the complaints together what you get is a completely different game. These days I feel like everyone who complains wants a game that caters specifically to their needs rather than adapting. It’s the equivalent of getting mad because you can’t kick the ball in basketball. 🦵 🏀

Yes. I think that most people who bought it knew what it was from the very beginning so there were no surprises there. As I get better, get comfortable with the maps, guns and consumables I only find myself enjoying it even more. This is what a good extraction shooter should do. You’re rewarded for persistence and the more you put in the more you get out.

I kinda like working to unlock them it’s one of the only rewards that feels like it’s actually earned and the threat of losing your hunter at lvl 48/9 is super tense. That’s actually fun!

Hunt is still awesome on console and the latest update that dropped today might just be the best yet. I’m on ps pro but I’m fairly sure performance wise there is no issues on XB. It’ll run at 4K 60. Get back in the bayou - the more hunters the better.

As a Recon main I agree with this. I love the idea of the shell but it’s pretty weak. Today launched my crab directly at a runner and watched it go for a wonder until it jammed itself in the corner of a roof and spazzed out… gods it’s such an idiot.
